Come celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with a special show: The holiday giveaways show! Dr. Phil and Robin bring the magic of the holiday season to an audience filled with families affected by Hurricane Katrina. With a stash of gifts that’s bigger than ever, the pair give Santa a run for his money. Does he mind? Find out for yourself as he arrives on the scene to help Dr. Phil and Robin spread some holiday cheer – plus this season’s hottest gifts. And for the first time, some lucky viewers at home get in on the giveaways with a surprise phone call from Dr. Phil during the show. What will Dr. Phil and Robin be putting under their tree? You won't believe your eyes! Talk about the show here.

Find out what happened on the show.

Thank You Dr. Phil

Seeing the children on the show, who suffered from Hurricane Katrina, so happy brought tears to my eyes.  It makes me very happy when people who have to capability to make such a difference actaully do it. Dr. Phil and Robin are wonderful people and I am a big fan not just of the show, but of the kind of people they are.  I have a three year old daughter and I think I'm able to give her just enough for Christmas.  Every year we go to the church and pick a tag with the sex and age of a child and then go shop for a present for this child. We leave it at the church and it gets delivered to the child from "Santa".  This is something I want to do with my daughter every year and I want her to understand that every year she is going to get one less present so we can give one to a child that needs it.  That's about all we can afford to give, but it still gives me a sense of accomplishment in that we did something for the true meaning of Christmas.

I tried to logon to your website on Friday and it was not working I tried a couple times.  But, I think you are doing a wonderful job.  I think you should be proud of yourself for being able to help out the people in our Gulf State Region.  Thank you so much.

While watching the show last night,  i was so excited and happy for the audience members and yet  i was just wishing i could be there too - even though a lot of the things i saw i had never heard of!!  LOL  i guess i am waaaaay behind the current trends in just about everything!!!!!  LOL   (i am a stay at home grandmother who watches my youngest granddaughter Kacey, who has Down Syndrome and i also raise a Helping Hands monkey, so i don't get out often except to take Kacey to therapy twice a week - i can only use this as my excuse to be so behind the times!!!  LOL LOL)  so imagine my happy surprise when Dr. Phil said go to your computers right now and log on to get a chance to win some of these prizes!   boy i ran like greased lightening to my computer. logged in like a bandit  only to find that the site took forever to come up and then after clicking to contest rules and trying to scroll down to see what to do next, the site clicked me off!!!  i guess my greased lightening wasn't as greased as i thought!!!  LOL   i did read about having to get your entry in by 1 a.m. this morning, but was wondering if the time line was going to be extended due to all of the hits i'm sure the site got?  did anyone else have this problem?

I also could not get in  yesterday i tried for over a half hour, i figured as you to many hits, so no luck

Your kindness

I don't get to watch your show very often but always enjoy it when I do.The gift giving show was wonderful. Everyone wishes they could be the recipient of your gratitude, myself included. I would love to be on a show but I live in North Dakota! I guess there are advantages to living in CA, but I will stay here we almost always have a "White Christmas". We live through blizzards and hail storms and say Mother Nature has her way. The devastation of Katrina was awful and most of the people are grateful, others expect to be taken care of and given everything for nothing.  So for those that accept the gratitude and then pass it on I wish the Happiest of  Holidays and a Happy New Year!

Fridays Christmas Giveaway

Hello to Dr. Phil, Robin and Staff,

Just wanted to tell everyone "THANK YOU" for helping the Katrina and Rita victims.

Here in the south, everyone was effected.  The  efforts of "everyday" people helping each other was unbelivable!!  Everyone pulled together in so many different ways to help in anyway they could.  It may have been just donating bedding to a displaced family in a donated mobile home, with other furnishing's donated by many....but the job got done!!!  Food was delivered, money was donated, clothing was bought, and love was plentiful.  Now your show has stepped in a donated the large and expensive items most of us "everyday" people could not provide....it was great!!!  I watched the all three days...............wow!!  (and I thought the tears were over....)

The people selected for your shows didn't just get physical items...they got a life of great memories spawned from  devastating ones.

Thank you again!!!

Gala
