My son was nearly dx with bipolar at the age of five because he had voilent rages and would attack anyone, including hurting himself. Slamming his head into walls, doors, trying to get knifes to stab himself or others. I had to hide all the knives and other things that he could use to hurt others with. He had problems starting as a baby and it just got worse over time. By the time he was three he was in 'therapy'...more like trying to figure out what was going on with him! I was taught to physically restrain him so he couldn't hurt me or others. Many times I had my arms covered with bite marks, scratches, brusies...I have been head butt, nearly had fingers broken, my jaw almost dislocated due to his rages.
He would say he wanted to die and go to hell and help the devil kill people...wanted to cut my head off....he has come after me with bricks, sprayed household cleaner in my face said numberous times how he wanted to kill me. He ended up in a mental health hospital at age five because he got a knife and was going to 'kill himself'...at this time it was discovered he was hearing 'hundreds and hundreds of demons' in his head. He was put on heavy duty medication to try to control these. On his dad's side of the family mental illness is rampant and severe...so it appeared he was becoming severely mentally ill....but the medications did not help.
To make a long story short, I realize that the secular mental health system could not help my son...sure they could treat his body but not his spirit. I had allergy testing done...he did have allergies and food allergies...had that treated...he did have ADHD and put on meds for that. He was dx with other problems and delays, I got him help for all of that, yet he kept getting worse. Tried natural treatment....avoided all the foods he was allegic too...I tried EVERYTHING and nothing worked until I learned to do spiritual warefare. He also had the horrible nightmares...almost always about demons. Where he got this demon idea from I do not know....but I do know alot of people who hear voices say its demon's they hear.
I studied scriptures on rebuking evil spirits in the Name of Jesus...I got rid of everything in my home that would offend God...New Age stuff...horror books and movies...anything that appeared to be occult...threw it all out! Then I begin quietly rebuking the evil spirits I saw in him...not where he could hear me though. If he was anger and defiant, I would say, Be gone evil spirits of anger and defiance in the Name of Jesus and by the Blood of Jesus..and within a minute he would calm right down. I was amazed! I felt pretty stupid doing it actually until I saw it working. At first I had to do it alot throughout each day...then over time less and less...this is bibical..we do what Jesus did. I do not believe a demon was in my son, but only he was being oppessed by them.
At any rate, I rarely have to rebuke anything now and he hasn't raged in a long long time. He still has ADHD and allergies but the food allergies were healed too. :) His severe anxiety is better too. He is making process all the time after years of living in hell and is now a much happier and healthier and more normal boy. Everyone needs to simple read the bible....the answer to all our problems is in there. Do know there is a war going on....its spiritual...they attack our minds first...shield yourself with Jesus Christ.
