Topic : 01/05 "Am I Cursed?"

I really enjoy watching the Dr. Phil show... it's great watching him make people understand... they so believe in him, that they actually listen, even though it may be advice they've heard a thousand times. Today's show showed me a side of Dr. Phil I'd heard mention of... his spirituality. His opinions. Even though I'm very sceptical, though not un-believing, when it comes to demons and angels, I have no problem with the advice he gave to that poor woman who's father had given her an exorcism at the impressionable age of nine. Seeking spiritual sanctity can't be a bad thing. I just can't believe that he didn't reassure her that she's not evil and that her father quite likely was foreseeing sins in his daughter that he had in himself. Imagine how terrifying it must have been for her... we didn't even get the details of who was involved, what they did to her and for how long. I know from my own experiences with overbearing, angry people, that if someone tells you for long enough that you are a certain way, you begin to believe it, and you become it. Dr. Phil, I wish I had been there with her instead of you. I would have told her that she's innocent... that no evil spirits have been imbedded in her by her father, but that all the hate and anger and lust and fear that he had welling up inside him was unjustly visited upon her until she became his prophecy. I joined this website only to say that. If the poor soul who was on that show today is out there, please believe that you were brainwashed , and by someone you love, to believe that you are evil... but you aren't. I saw your eyes, too, and Dr. Phil was right about one thing: you are a sweet soul. Break free from this "curse" by believing in yourself; by loving your children; by letting go all the negative things anyone ever told you were true about you when they were about the teller all the time.

I believe you dede 7007.   It is only when you have experienced firsthand that you know these forces are real.  I have a similar history to yours so I don't think that you are in any way ridiculous.  Please tell me how you overcame and what your experiences.  No one I know believes me except my family but we are not yet all free from this experience.  I believe in God and pray for Jesus to protect me.  Do you have other suggestions?

There are several things that you can do to relieve these so called "curses". You can put a protection spell on yourself, burn white candles, sandlewood incense, pray to Archangel Michael and God to help relieve yourself of the spirits or whatever , that are bothering you. Also to protect you from harm, etc. Sometimes things can happen that make you believe you are cursed, or someone is playing tricks on you, etc. but most of the time it is just some bothersom spirit trying to irritate you. I consider communicating with the other side,a gift. They can tell you important things, but you must get rid of the negative spirits. You can also take holy water, burn a white candle, burn sandalwood incense, going through your house, putting crosses over all doors and windows and pray to return the spirit to the light. Then put crosses on you , your family , animals etc. 

  

My daughter had a spirit at her house that we finally, through the methods above, managed to get out of her house. He used to bother me because he could. My daughter and myself can communicate with spirits when they choose. We don't ask for it. Just happens. I have even seen my daughters eyes turn different colors. From brown to blue, while she was in a trance. She can Automatic write. She has not completed High School and doesn't write poetry. She dictated a poem to me , in a trance,  that was 2  1/2 pages long in about 5 minutes. The rest she has written with her eyes closed in different hand writings. The poems are beautiful and spiritual. If you are afraid of what is happening, it will be worse. It is best to face it head on, accept it and 10 chances to one it will stop. Evil spirits, thrive on fear.  Anyway, these are my thoughts on the subject. 

  

 I really felt for Sharon when I heard what she had to endure at the young age of 9. I could really empathize with her as I had shared a similiar experience. When I was in my early twenties and a young mother, my husband and I had alot of pressure that we didn't have the maturity or support to deal with. My husband's mother was suffering with some severe emotional/mental issues, my husband had lost his job and I was dealing with lack of sleep in raising a one year old and was anemic. All of these issues coupled together had really worn me down and I was feeling very stressed out.  I was visiting a friend of mine who was raised in a very strict pentacostal church and family, but was not really following her religion. She asked me to go to visit her mother with her. While I was there my friend was telling her mother some of the issues I was going through. Her mother then asked my friend to leave the room so that she could pray with me. Being raised in the Catholic Church I was very open to someone praying for me or with me. I was expecting some form of inspirational prayer asking God to give me strength and wisdom to endure what hardships we were experiencing. What happened next really frightened me, especially because I was already feeling very vunerable at this time of my life.  Her mother held my hands and started to tell me I was feeling stressed and anxious because the devil was making me feel this way. She then started to command Satan to leave me alone, saying  "I command ye Satan leave this child, leave this child." She then said if I had trouble sleeping to call her at all hours and if I woke up and felt I shouldn't call her , this was Satan making me feel this way because he was afraid of me talking to her . If I thought I was stressed before, trust me I left that home feeling totally stressed out.  I never realized that Satan was such a big part of my life. Now on top of my regular problems, I also had to worry about Satan possessing me. Now I fully understood why my friend had said she suffered a nervous breakdown a few years prior because she thought she was possessed. When she originally told me this, I didn't quite understand, now I certainly did.  When I went home visibly shaken to my husband and told him what happened, he was able to help put things in perspective for me. He said if you don't call someone at 3 a.m. it is not Satan stopping you, it is common courtesy. This whole incident really did open my eyes to the destructiveness of this type of prayer.  All the children in this family ended up really screwed up and no wonder. They all felt that if they felt or experienced any negativity in their lives that the devil was  trying to possess them. Thankfully  I also had a very good kind priest who also put this whole episode in perspective for me.  What we all have to remember is that God gives us a free will. I do not believe that the devil randomly possesses people. I believe that people make a conscious choice to choose evil. We all witness this everyday when we listen to the news. God would never allow a good kind person who has faith in God be overtaken by evil. They may be affected by evil but not overcome.  People who like to blame the devil for any of their own wrongdoings are looking for a scapegoat, instead of taking responsiblility for their own choices. When I experienced my so called exorcism, I left that house feeling like I would rather be an atheist, then to believe in God the way they do.  That is how horrible and destructive this type of prayer or exorcism or whatever you want to call it makes people feel. Unfortunately it leads people to rebel and turn away from God, not bring the real comfort that your faith in God can bring. People who choose to lead evil lives are the ones who are allowing evil forces into their lives. They are the people who choose to lie, steal, cheat, murder etc.  So I do believe we have to be aware of the evil forces out there, but I do not believe that people like Sharon are possessed. She obviously has alot to emotional and spiritual healing that needs to take place and I hope Dr. Phil does find this kind of help for her. I have learned that real life negative emotions, like depression, anxiety, sadness while they are very unpleasant to go through, are also necessary to wake us up to make changes in our lives. Instead of believing these emotions come from the devil, I believe they are the protective mechanisms that God places in us to shake us into making changes with our lives. We sometimes make bad choices and we start to experience negative emotions. This is our wake up call to evaluate the path we are taking and make some positive changes.   God made us all in his image and Jesus experienced all of these human emotions also. What Sharon's father did to her was show her that the devil had more power than God, which is a very wrong message. It is only when we purposely give in to evil temptations that we allow evil to enter our lives and the beauty is we all know when we do this and we all have the power through God's grace to stop the evil temptations.  I have had  hardships in my life  to endure, but I have had many people who meet me tell me that I am a very positive lucky person. We can all look at the bad things that happen as curses but do we take the time to look at the good things that happen as blessings? Maybe Dr.  Phil should have a whole show on people who feel they are blessed.

I watched the show today about the curses/hexes, etc.  I believe I may be 'cursed', but not do to emotional problems.  Back in July, I awoke with strange mark on my chest.  I showed my friends and family members, nobody has ever seen anything like it.  I showed it to a doctor (not mine) and he thinks it was from a button, but that is not the case.  See for yourself.  If anyone has any ideas where I can get an answer, please advise.  I wish I could blame it on emotional problems or think positive, but I don't think Dr. Phil would know either.  Thank you 

  

 

I have also seen these things, but I don't believe it is all evil as you put it. I have had beautiful messages given to me, I have spoken to my daughter who died when she was a baby, and been told so many wonderful things. I have only gotten a few evil entities, and believe me you can tell they are evil.  Not all are that way. Not just because the bible said so. These communications have gone on way before religion even existed, and they are only evil if you let them be and you have evil thoughts and want to do evil deeds.  It is taught that we cannot hurt others, or do anything for personal gain. If that is evil, then I don' t understand. I have seen many religious people go to church every Sunday and treat others with no respect or caring in their daily lives. I am a good person even with this gift, and do not consider myself the least bit evil. I have been warned from bad things that were going to happen, and able to stop it. If this is bad, then I don't understand. I am not ashamed of this, and tell everyone. If they believe, fine , if not I don't care.  Just like anything you can choose to use it for good or bad, just like religion and the bible. People turn that totally around to mean what they want it to mean or what they get from it personally, as far fetched as their thoughts might be. It, after all has been written and rewritten by man. Who is to say, what the real meaning was in the beginning. The overall meaning is to love thy neighbor, do good by people, do not hurt anyone, steal, cheat, etc. That is the way I live my life. Does that mean that I am terrible because I am not a daily bible reader, church goer.  I live the way God would want me to and with the gifts that he has given me, including being able to communicate with spirits.

   It is true.Let me explain. (I do this work, non-profit) so I know a little about this.
Demons do have names, as they once angels, but are now fallen angels. Their actual name may not be "lust", but that is a sin, a negative thing, that they will accentuate in someone. So, when someone asks a demon (and it is rare this is done) what their name is, and they say something like "hate", that means that is the emotion in th eperson they play off of. Like a title, but not a name. My name is Heidi, and I answer to that legally and personally. But, many callme "mom", I have nicknames, I am known as "The Ghostlady" on a radio show, I am known as "daughter", "wife" and other titles I am, and so on. So, those "names" are just titles, not their actual name. 

I have even heard one called "Spirit guide" once. There are MANY! Whatever bad or misleading thing you can think of, anything that is not good, a demon can play off of and call itself.

This is no curse!  I see exactly what is on your chest.  It is very apparent.  It is a cross, with the symbol of the body of Christ.  Hopefully it will grow much bigger.  I would love to hear more about you!!! 

  

I hope your ready for this Dr. Phil.  I hope your ready for the thousands of emails and letters.  Bottom line is that there is a such thing as satan.  He is real, and yes, he has control over much of our pretty little world.  Face the facts people, and take your heads out of the sand.  Time will run out, and few will be saved.  Lord help us all!!!
