Topic : 01/05 "Am I Cursed?"

Countrycow has a very good point. Unless you repent and turn from your sins you will  

perish in hell and then you will see true evil.   I apologize for turning this into a  

religious discussion, however, I just thought I had to make a comment here.
I have studied the scriptures for a very long time now and one thing I can assure you  

all is that the Bible is true and it is the word of God.  For those that don't agree I  

can come to a solid conclusion about you.   

1. You are not truly seeking after God.
2. You have not read the Bible *and/or* understood it.   

I have studied the scriptures very carefully and am 100% convinced that the writings  

are divine in origin.  This is the very basis for my faith in God and why I believe God  

exists, otherwise I would be an athiest today.  I know the scriptures like the back of  

my hand and when you say the scriptures are not true you do not know what you say. 

Yes there is payment to be made for sin and yes hell/eternal damnation is a reality  

unless you come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.  I know that hell and damnation  

sound so negative and may seem like a mythical legend but it's an unfortunate reality. 
It is a place of utter torment and everlasting destruction where the devil and his  

demons will also dwell for eternity.  It is a cursed place of no mercy, no hope, no  

salvation and no rest day or night.  Those that perish there will be utterly forsaken  

forever.  And I'm willing to make a bet that those who perish in hell would have wished  

they had listened to all those "religious nuts" when they were walking on the earth.  

Countrycow and like many other "religious people" warn you about this place so that you  

won't have to go there.  God uses us to knock on the door of your hearts and to draw  

you to Him.  God loves us and cares for us and this is why He sent Jesus to die for us.
He provides the gospel as a means to escape true justice, the wrath of a Holy Righteous  

God.   You have time while you are still alive to repent and turn away from your sins  

and come to Jesus Christ.  For every single sin from that small white lie to the mass  

murder of thousands, there is payment that is due and it will be paid to the very last  

penny when God balances the books of justice on Judgment Day.   

 We know and understand that this place of hell exists and it is the ultimate  

neverending curse. You may think all this is a false myth but I guarantee you that you  

will understand some day.  

   I was a little disappointed with Dr. Phil's attitude about this discussion .... I think he contradicted himself too ... I mean, he would have the crucifix with the light, surround himself with  holy symbols , yet, he doesn't think evil can find ways to interfere ... why then hang the cross?  Maybe, I am not making any sense here ... (been very busy ... tired) ... He was making fun of psychics.  There are many true psychics ... Serial killer John Wayne Gasey was caught by a psychic ... plus countless other cases too many to mention ... I believe that evil energy can find its way into a person's life ... I believe I could find proof in the bible ... because everyone interprets the holy Scripture there own way ... like two friends going to see a show ... one loves it ... the other wants to leave .... I seen a bumper sticker the other day .. It went ..... "Lord, please keep me safe from YOUR followers" .... Are those people who replied preaching about Jesus and Hell ... If you don't turn to Jesus your going to hell ... Really, how about the Buddha, Hindu, Native American, etc. ?  GOD is just happy you didn't turn to evil ... cause evil is easy ... faith is hard ... no matter the name it has... If I felt cursed (sometimes I do because I made a mistake and cursed myself) But, if I felt another force I would sage the house and sprinkle salt the perimeter of my entire property thinking only of Jesus (my personal choice) .... asking for protection of the light .. visualization is important ... I like to think of it like this ... there is a war going on ... always with mankind but, I am talking spiritually .... the good against evil and we are all warriors ... the side we pick is our choice ...  GOD gave us all the weapons we need, we just have to use them and not think because the "Christians" say that would be witchcraft ... using sage and salt ....  

Hello ellfie, Of course everyone has their own beliefs, religions, and I'm not here to  

disrespect your beliefs or anyone elses.  If you want to believe in whatever religion,  

go ahead.  

I'm just testifying that it is *impossible* for the Bible to be false or mythical.  I  

have carefully studied and analyzed the scriptures over and over again and can come to  

no other conclusion. The Bible is an extremely fascinating and deep book. 

@elffie If people have warned you about hell you should take them very seriously before  

lightly brushing them off.   You said you were not sure where people go when they die.   

Let's say that CountryCow and I are right.  Wouldn't it be better to investigate  

whether or not its the truth now than before it's too late?  After all if we are  

right... then hell is a very serious penalty.    

@windydaze People may interpret the scriptures wrong but that is because they do not know how to study it.  In order to come to correct interpretation you need to compare  

scripture with scripture.  Many people have taken versus out of their appropriate  

context and formed entirely new doctrines which are absolutely foreign to the entire  

teaching of Biblical truth.  The Bible is like a puzzle and when you begin to piece all  

the parts together you begin to see the big picture.  Most of the scriptures are very  

direct and straight forward so it is very hard to misinterpret something. 
Doctrines that are debatable within Christian circles are areas that are not critical  

to our understanding of God.  Something like Eschatology (the study of the end times)  

is highly debatable and the scriptures can sometimes be fuzzy with regard to these  

subjects.  But when it comes to heaven/hell, Christ/devil and salvation these are not  

debatable since the Bible clearly teaches about them and their existence.
 
I'm telling you guys that there is zero chance the scriptures originated from a human  

mind and therefore zero chance it is some fake legend.  I am 100% positive it was   

penned down by non other than God Himself.     

I didn't say that I was not sure where people go when they die, I said who really knows where they go when they die.  I believe that when someone dies they go to a holding place, otherwise known as the summerland and wait until their soul is ready to enter the world again.  This is otherwise known as reincarnation.  Now, I know that you probably do not feel the same and that is fine.  I don't think I did anything that would lead me to hell.  And I don't think that the Bible is a legend as I also think that Jesus did live and is worth worship.  The devil and hell are not part of my culture.  I too am not here to disrespect your chosen path, but to let you know that not all people who do not have Jesus in their lives are bad or evil.  Now, I know that you didn't say anything like that, I just thought I would throw that in.  Have you studied other religions?  I'm curious because they seem to have the same motto, don't do harm to others and you will get what you will in the end.  The only difference is that my chosen path does not have someone telling me that I will spend eternity in hell for the things that I do that are not right in the eyes of one.  "Harm none, do what ye will."  I do want to thank you for listening and if you do have any questions about my path, please feel free to ask.
