Topic : 01/05 "Am I Cursed?"

   countrycow, by examining your posts, it seems as if you can automatically "detect"  whether people "have Jesus in them" or whether or not they're "saved". Do you really think you can know whether or not God is in person A's heart while peoples X, Y, and Z don't have Him? Sorry. You can't. Whether they read the Bible or not, whether they've formally accepted Christ or not, you don't know what God thinks. You don't seem to be at all familiar with the concept of GRACE at all. What?? You say, A God who loves people enough to keep them even if they don't happen to make it to a baptism or don't have access to a Bible?? My head spins! Unless you can somehow directly "plug in" to God's Mind, you can't say He lacks grace for XYZ or whatever. You do seem to think He is quite lacking. 

   Unless I am mistaken, according to your doctrine, your God throws perfectly good people out with the trash just because they happen to live in China or something and don't get Bibles, or have no information about Christ. Too bad for that poor kid with muscular distrophy also--he goes to hell because he ain't coherent enough to learn. That Buddhist saint who feeds starving children and heals diseases for hundreds of people also gets the barbecue treatment. Perfectly good, God--loving people--go to hell because your God isn't graceous enough. I feel for you. Your God is a terror. He hates enough to throw that poor Muslem kid down just because he followed what daddy taught him. Whay if a person, who heard of this disturbing doctrine, got scared and ran away from it? Zip! Game over for him... 

   I feel for you because of the lives of existential hard-terror and negativity  you must live. Instead of loving God more than anything in the universe (like I do...), you sink in terror. Instead of a God of infinite compassion and grace, you have a God of infinite punishment waiting to strike your next brother human who happened not to take a pledge to Christ. Even to crush His own faces(those of you who do this for the least of these, you do unto Me). If countrycow happened to do evil to me or to not believe in me, implode1 would not seek vengeance. I would forgive and work for peace. Yet somehow God, who is infinitely greater than me, would deal out an unimaginable punishment to someone who did evil or thought He didn't exist. Strange... 

   I would very much like you to prove me wrong and tell us that God doesn't behave in this way. Otherwise, please spare us the negative postings--we do not need to hear it now, not in the context of the show, not in this country when morale is low to start with.  

Countrycow, I love conversing with you, I really do.  Again, I am not lost, I know exactly where I am and what I am doing.  I can't beleive you actually think I get my beliefs from movies.  That is just a bunch of Hollywood crap that does not portray real people or real thinking of any sort.  Infact, I don't even watch movies about my religion because they always get it wrong because they are ignorant.  Do you really believe everything you see on T.V. or in movies?  I sure hope not.  There are no false Gods.  If there were, perhaps yours would probably be considered one in the eyes of others from different cultures.

I know you believe that there is a heaven and a hell and that is alright.  I for one beleive in reincarnation, but that is another topic.  All I was trying to say was, let people have their own thoughts.  Everyone does not think alike and that is what makes living so unique, that there are billions of people who believe what they want.  All we can do is tell them why we beleive what we do, if they ask of course, and let them know how we got there.  For me, I beleive in the Goddess because how can you have man without woman?  The Gods plant the seeds, the Goddesses nurture and let them grow.  I have kept you in my thoughts and I probably will for some time to come.  You have been a little overboard on some of your postings, but overall I do think that you care a great deal for people and just want the best for them.  As so do I. 

   If anything, this looks like a CROSS. Maybe an equal-pointed one. Don't jump to any conclusions. LOL.

I know when I turn to dust I have lived my life the best I could.  Funny thing is, I don't need a respectable piece of literature to tell me how I should live my life.

What if you don't believe in heaven or hell?  What then?  I guess to you the earth is flat and we never went to the moon?  Or maybe, dinosaur bones were planted by Satan?  Please, woman, you are upsetting me with your Gospel!  I think you need to work on yourself a little before it is too late.  What will happen at your last moments when you realize that your life of witnessing was a waste?  I just speak the truth and want to save you from wasting your life!  Peace be with you sister. 

That actually looks familiar but I don't know from where.  It peaked my interest and the closest thing I found was the Christian symbol for Faith Hope and Charity.   

 

I think your ideas about God are a little off.  I think if you want to love God keep it in your own house or at church.  People have to find God by themselves  you telling them that they will go to Hell if they don't is  crazy.  You said before that there are no other Gods.  I disagree,  if people really believe in who they worship then that is how they'll spend their after life.  In their kind of bliss.  I think it's rude for people that are Christian to have such a closed mind about anything else then they don't follow there own religion.  There are more Christians that are killing, hurting, and deceiving people then any other religion.  I just want you to grow up and let us make our own decisions.  Have a good day.

   While I'm rather agnostic when it comes to these things, I can tell you that projecting love and compassion towards the lost soul who may be causing this will most likely help. I feel deeply for you, and would take your troubles as my own if I could. That's just the nature of love, and it counters all darkness. I had encountered a ghost situation once, and peace was made when this technique was used; the phenomenon stopped. 

   Listen carefully. This spirit is almost certainly that of your deceased brother. Pray for him. Send love to him--try to, even if you are scared or feel angry over this. He is most likely very confused as to what is going on with him. How did he die? Was he angry when he died, or was there any grudge match happening at the time? What kind of person was he when he lived? When people die, particularly if it's sudden or untimely for the individual, their spirits sometimes become very confused or derranged. He may simply be maddened over having died young. It is more likely he still thinks he's alive or is frustrated at not being able to communicate directly to you. If unexplainable phenomena are happening, it might be the soul desperately trying to communicate or break through. Conversely, the nightmares may simply involve the soul's anguished awareness filtering into your own mind. Or it may be an ordinary textbook case of night-terrors; a relatively common sleep disturbance that differs from night-mares. For a spirit who is earthbound, linear time does not really apply--you sort of exist everywhere at once, or experience everything as an eternal moment in a continuum. Very little subjective time may have passed for your brother. To him, he may have died only hours ago! 

   Call to God and His love and then just try talking to your brother, even if you think the ghost may not be him. While invoking the love and protection of God, focus images of love and healing light towards him. Tell him God loves him. Try and show forgiveness to him. Ask him what he feels or talk to him about his life with compassion. Above and beyond in importance to anything else, try and tell him to GO TO GOD, to go to the light. If you do this, you just might experience a profound moment of healing. You might even find something even greater come from this, like seeing the spirit being rescued from darkness and confusion and being taken into God's healing presence.
