Dr. Phil revisits some of his most amazing stories of the season. First, Tim and Anne Marie were desperate to save their mother, Sylvia, who was constantly talking to the voices in her head. After 10 weeks of treatment, see the inspirational turn Sylvia has taken. What will she say when she meets Dr. Phil face to face? Then, just over a month ago, two women told Dr. Phil how they fell victim to alleged con man and bigamist Ed Hicks. See how their story helped another woman and brought Hicks into police custody. Plus, 18-year-old Natalee Holloway disappeared last May during a senior class trip to the island of Aruba. Dr. Phil is joined by Natalee’s mother, Beth, her lawyer, and a consultant to the Aruban government who defends the work of the investigators. Have there been new revelations since the last time Beth appeared on the show? Could rescuers be on the brink of finding the missing teen? Talk about the show here.

Find out what happened on the show.

Good Morning America on campaign against Beth Twitty?

Did anyone see the interview with the VanDer Sloots on Good Morning America this morning and yesterday morning?  What was the purpose of this interview?  Seems to me that GMA were giving the Van Der Sloots a place to stage their campaign against Beth Holloway Twitty.  It was the lamest interview i have ever seen.  It was truly disgusting!  Saying she is harrassing their son!  Give ME a BREAK!!!  He has the answers and she deserves the answers!  She and her daughter Are the VICTIMS here Not Him!!

Beth if you ever read these boards, i just want you to know i stand behind you and i am praying for you!

Where are the answers?

It is very hard for me to understand how a beautiful, young girl just vanishes in mid-air while all along no one sees anything.  I understand that there are people on the island that are geuninely concerned about finding her, but the government seems to have really dropped the ball in ball from the beginning.  From following this story from the start, we have heard so many versions come from each of the three boys.  Why is that alone not enough to detain these boys.  They are all obviously cowards and have a lot to loose if tthey tell the truth.  Unfortunately, by the time they are willing to talk, it will probably already be too late for her (although I pray that this is not the case), but they owe her parents, family and friends the truth behind what happened.  And if it takes us not going to the country and stopping the money from tourism for the officials to realize that some action has to be taken, then so be it.  The reason that we do not boycot our own nation, as many have pointed out, is because we have systems in place that afford the police the authority to get to bottom of ridiculous stories like these boys had put forth.  They would all still be in jail if they here, so why are they free to flee and  lawyer up?  That obviously has not helped the case in the least!  I just pray that someone comes forward and sheds more light on the case.  I pray for her safe return and send prayers of comfort to her family and friends.  We cannot let this case go cold!!!

I too feel that it was in very poor taste.  I mean, I understand that it is their son, but they helped him cover it up from the beginning.  I cannot help but wonder how much different this would have turned out had these parents not been so wealthy.  Someone truly needs to ask GMA what they were thinking?  Since when are they on the side of PR for Aruba much less, the parents whom have done everything they can to prevent him from being questioned by the police?  It sickens me to know that Beth could have been watching that...  I only hope that they come to the realization that at least they can talk with and have comfort in the fact that they can speak to their child, while knowing that he had a vital part of Beth not having that same right with her daughter.

Dear readers,

First of all I want to say that I think its awful what happened to Natalee, and I'm not writing this to defend Joran. But I got to say, being a Dutch woman I don't like the way people think and talk about Holland, and especially dutch laws. You people don't know anything about Holland, most of you probably don't even know where Holland is. I saw the show today (here the show comes a few months later than it does in America) but what struck me in the show was that Mrs. Holloways lawyer said "we must throw those boys in jail, throw away the key and let them rot there until we have enough evidence to convict them". I totally disagree because last time I checked people were innocent until proven guilty and not the other way around. Offcourse Mrs Holloway wants some closure, I totally understand, if it were my daughter I would too, but you CAN'T throw a few boys in jail if you don't know for sure if they did it. But what I also understand is that  Jorans parents don't want to see their son in jail, especially if people aren't sure wether he had something to do with it or not. How would you, as Americans, feel if we, the dutch, would throw an American in jail because we thought he or she did something wrong without us having enough evidence.  You would be angry, say: "oh you stupid dutch people, he/she's an american and we know what to do with them" and you would do anything in your power to have us let him or her go free unless we would have some real evidence. I hope you all understand where I'm coming from. And, yes, that woman needs closure and REST, so please do everything you need to solve this but stop with the media-circus around the whole thing.

I think that because the show was so long ago, no one will read this, but I hope someone does.

Best regards.

Unfair

I think kleinemeid is a big girl in the way she thinks. I also think someone is innocent until proven guilty. I even thought this was an american saying...aparently not. There is still so much to learn from the people in the old country!

Something else: How can you punish an entire island, when only one teenager supposedly killed a drunk american girl who didn't listen to her friends request to come with them. Aruba is a poor island with many innocent people depending on the tourism sector and you want them to suffer for something they didn't take part of. I was unpleasantly suprised that Dr. Phil himself seemed to be so very short-sighted.

Aruba has very little to do with The Netherlands since its so called "Status Aparte" in 1986, where it became a sepparate country within the kingdom. They do use the dutch law wich maybe somewhat easy on convicted criminals in term of sentencing, but it is much more fair then the american justice system, because only judges can pass verdict instead of a citizen who has jury duty...

Shame on you Dr. Phil and the rest of the narrowminded americans!!!

If you really believe this could be solved so handily why do you think there are thousands of missing children in this country?  If so, we should be ashamed of ourselves and spend time on little terrified children out there somewere IN OUR OWN COUNTRY.

To the writer that asked what is wrong with the American people I tell them the following:

(1) We are American and we have been socialized (directly/indirectly to believe that we are "superior" to all other nations.

(2) When an "American" is on vacation or otherwise visiting a foreign state it is expected that the foreign state take "extra" precautions to protect its' American visitor from harm; and

(3) If the American visiting the foreign state does not belong to one of the American elite groups (determined by race, class or both) then the foreign stat may not be expected to use extraordinary precautions or responses, and no sanctions may be imposed.

In Short, the disapperance of Natalie Holloway is no doubt a misfortune.  However, in a world where MONEY, POLITICS, RELIGION and Race are often the sole basis in which many decisions are made it is not surprising that the tradegy of Natalie has gained world attention.  Moreover, it is not surprising that the US would impose sanctions to harm an entire country for one missing person, yet fail to enforce its own laws designed to ensure equal protection and due process to all American citizens.

NATALEE HOLLOWAY

I think the boys that helped kidnapped Natalee Holloway kidnapped her for someone else.
I think that the raper and keeper of Natalee Holloway has his other friends with him now, or at Christmas time.
I thought Natalee Holloway was lately at a place, or island, that someone called something like, a little animal or insect, or a slang word for whereever that is. I forgot what the place was called, he had a little simple symbol for it.

What Really Happened to Natalee?

I am posting this link http://judicial-inc.biz/1.1reuse.htm  in hopes that Dr. Phil will see, examine it, and get it to Beth Holloway-Twitty.  Ignore the main page but do scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Natalee Holloway".

I've not forgotten Natalee and pray justice will be served for her.  Hopefully, this link is not someone's wild imagination and will give authorities more evidence that will solve this case once and for all.

The Bible says, "Everything that is hidden will be revealed."  I believe that with all my heart.

God bless Beth and her family.  Pray the answers will come soon and that justice follows quickly.

01/19 Follow-ups

I watched the Show yesterday and my prayers are with the Holloway family and I hope they find the body of Natalie Holloway so that we can get some answers from the people who were responsible for her disappearence. But is there any other evidence besides that the boys were released and that the boy's father was proctecting himself, that the Aruban Government covered up the case? Also to the poster who said that the US does not protect the criminals this is a lie since the judicial system in the US is corrupt. In fact the judical systems in the rest of the world are also corrupt. I also think that boycotting Aruba is stupid because this will not do anything to help find Natalie Holloway. But I do find it suprising that the suspects were arrested, then released and then arrested again then released. This how the judical systems in the rest of the world work. The laws are not enforced enough even in the US. This has got to change. All the governments of the world need to change their attitudes and start working hard to make these laws stricter.
