Dr. Phil revisits some of his most amazing stories of the season. First, Tim and Anne Marie were desperate to save their mother, Sylvia, who was constantly talking to the voices in her head. After 10 weeks of treatment, see the inspirational turn Sylvia has taken. What will she say when she meets Dr. Phil face to face? Then, just over a month ago, two women told Dr. Phil how they fell victim to alleged con man and bigamist Ed Hicks. See how their story helped another woman and brought Hicks into police custody. Plus, 18-year-old Natalee Holloway disappeared last May during a senior class trip to the island of Aruba. Dr. Phil is joined by Natalee’s mother, Beth, her lawyer, and a consultant to the Aruban government who defends the work of the investigators. Have there been new revelations since the last time Beth appeared on the show? Could rescuers be on the brink of finding the missing teen? Talk about the show here.

Find out what happened on the show.

I think that Steve Cohen is full of it!   I feel he is still just giving her mother and Dr. Phil the run around, trying to pull the wool over their eyes.  I don't think he has any intention on finding her dead or alive.  He acts like there was nothing wrong that happened, when it is plain as daylight..

Good luck and my prayers go out to Natalee and her family and Dr. Phil.!

Boycott for Crime not solved?

Quote From: dnama16

First I can't imagine how awful for a mother to lose a child or not knowing if Natalee is dead or alive. But I'm amazed at you Dr. Phil that you promote the boycott of Aruba. Did you boycott  the U.S.A  when O.J. Simpson murdered two innocent people and got away with it? Where was the american justice? If you remember...they screwed up royally! What about the 1000's unsolved murders/rapes/kidnapping in the United States? Is the rest of the world boycottting the United States because the system has failed these poor victims? You seem to forget that the United States is rated very high for violent crimes. I thing it is very stupid and ignorant to boycott a country and ruined the tourism industry because a crime has not been solved.

The crime has not been solved according to the Office of the Attorney General in Aruba. This country and its legal head office need a wake up call. When North Americans bring their money into the economy of Aruba they do so expecting a fair shake. Natalee is not the issue here. The process of an individuals right to life is what seems to be the problem. When you stick your hand out for the Lincoln and Jefferson image on that little piece of paper there has got to be some accountability and fair transaction. Stop feeding the mouth that bites you comes to mind here. Thats what a boycot does..

Hollway Followup

I was appalled to see the Aruban liason sit on stage (across from Natalie's mom) with a smirk on his face during the show.  While it appeared that his message was somewhat genuine, it also appeared that it may have been a political move as well.  My sympathy goes out to Mrs. Twitty.  Hopefully as Dr. Phil and others continue to pursue this case, we will eventually find an answer as to what really happened to Natalie.

Why is such a fuss being made over this one person?

OK, it's very hard on the parents to have their daughter disappear and not know what happened to her, but come on!  She is just one of many, many missing people every year.  Why is such a big deal made of this one young lady who, actually, brought some trouble on herself by getting drunk and hanging out with people she didn't know?

I am not saying I don't sympathize with the family, I do.  But really, will they ever know what happened to Natalie?  I do not understand the commotion being made over this ONE PERSON!

Dr. Phil, I watched today the interview with you, Beth, her lawyer and the Consultant.   I cannot explain why, but I feel the consultant knows what has happened to Natalee and I strongly feel

Natalee is still alive and has been sold into the Sex Slave industry.  That Consultant in my

opinion is involved as well.   If the police don't work on this case soon, the three young men

will be killed by their employer.   It is the only way out for that consultant to look good.

I think Cohen knows alot more than he is telling.

In a way I sort of feel that would be bad on the boys part.  I am not saying I think they are innocent,  they might be, then again, maybe they're not.  But I don't think they are the sole ones to blame.  I think they may have just been innocent guys looking for a good time and got caught up in something more involved than they bargined for.  That is just my feeling on it.  I may be wrong.   I feel that the Aruba government MAY be tied up in it.  Politic's in any form, in any country, even in the US is dirty.  That is why I don't care to get involved with it.  Some of the stuff that goes on makes one sick of the malarky!

Commotion over Natalie

A country who depends on tourism must commit itself to protecing its tourists. To ignore a murder (if that is the case) is to put everyone who goes there in harm's way. Our friends who have gone there tell me that Natalie ended up in the worst section of Aruba where forced drinking is the norm and that they were warned not to go there. It is devasting that a young girl made mistakes, but to not find anwers about her disappearance is to allow it to happen again and again. I support Dr. Phil in cutting off all U.S. tourist dollars there until the matter is resolved. To go there is to support their negligence and probable corruption.

Major Difference

The U. S. went through legal battle to try and obtain justice in the Nicole Simpson murder. Aruba is not doing that-they are laughing all the way to the bank with their U. S. tourist dollars and hoping that we will just forget. What happened to Natalie can happen again and we should not be content with the injustice of it.

Someone should talk with George Bush

Quote From: shadowpdx

This has gone on WAY TO LONG!!  The Arubian authorities are sitting back WAITING FOR  all of this to blow over.......after all. we are know for forgetting what has happened in the past......we have one of the kids is in Holland probably enjoying himself....who knows what the other two are doing.........meanwhile, we have a mother who is suffering-----and wondering what has happened to her daughter.  And our kids are preparing for spring break.........other people are preparing for vacations...............Start boycotting the island of Aruba!  Go somewhere else......Get loud about it.  I know I WON'T BE GOING AND I PLAN TO ASK OTHERS NOT TO PLAN ANY TRIPS THERE.

I thing George Bush should get involved and place a federal sanction on all airlines flying to Aruba,

Maybe this would be a Major Wake Up Call that we mean business, GET OFF OF YOUR ASSES AND FIND AND PROSECUTE THE RESPONSIBLE MORONS that would treat a person the way they have treated Natalie

Bravo

Quote From: yahootie

I'm trying to understand what holding a criminal who broke our laws from Holland has anything to do with a young woman being kidnapped and likely murdered on a school trip to the Caribbean.  Forgive me if I don't see the similarity.  As for why we're so livid with the Aruban government, I'll explain.

1.  It should not be so hard for this small island to figure out what happened to this young pretty white woman who would stick out like a sore thumb.

2.  The Caribbean as a whole is largely impoverished.  Their economy is based on tourism of which the majority is American.

3.  "Strange" as you say, Americans are not interested in visiting a country that is not willing to get to the bottom of this case or to communicate all of its details to America.

Now, regarding our country:  Europeans seem to find a great deal of pleasure in bashing Americans and declaring us imbeciles.  Perhaps its because we have a history of which we can be proud.  Perhaps its because our not-so-distant relatives sacrificed their very lives so that we may live freely and enjoy the democracy that we have.  I'm not sure how many Americans have tried illegal means to live in Holland this year or any European country.  I can bet every dollar in my 401K that such a number would not hold a candle to the number of your citizens trying to become a "strange American."  Our constitution is respected by our government and civilians alike.  It has been emulated by countless nations and regarded as an ideal government.

Lastly, if your daughter came to NYC and a thuggish American or group thereof kidnapped  her, forced her into prostitution, killed her, or any other great number of awful things, my elected president (past, present or future) would not shrug it off or say, "What else can I do?"   When you patronize our country legally, and out of leisure, surely, we owe you the assurance that your child will not be "lost" without explanation.  I'm horrified that you would find this "strange."  Would you not scream from every mountain peak not to visit the USA?  When we go to Aruba, a nation that would suffer greatly without us, and we don't return, our nation will scream until it has answers.  If yours would not, perhaps your country is the "strange" one and I wouldn't let your children travel if I were you.

Bravo, bravo!! Well said...

Quote From: floortje

Yahootie, I'm not sure which planet you live on, but it sure ain't the same as mine.

You contradict yourself in point 1 and 2. How would a young pretty (I beg to differ) white woman stick out like a sore thumb amidst all these American tourists...???

The 2nd part of your post makes even less sense. Your history (exept for the very recent couple of hundred years) is the same as the European history. For the very simple fact that your country didn't exist before then and most of the first "Americans" came from Europe. And no, if we do bash America it has nothing to do with history, but everything with this "we are the best" attitude that many of you seem to have. Get it into your thick skulls, you are not the best! Stop abusing your power and stop spreading so much hatred. Thanks to your "war on terror" I'm not safe on my own street. America has angred so many people that they are even attacking my country to show you how angry they are (pretty pissed off really!). Before this "war", I was perfectly safe, but not anymore. Thanks America!

Also, not many Europeans will have tried to enter the US illegally as we are allowed to enter legally. In fact, we don't even need a visa! Or do you think Europe is the same as Africa, Asia, South America, etc? Now that wouldn't surprise me, coming from an American....Ha! Ha! Use your 401K to get some education...

Your constitution is even abused by your own President. Isn't the NSA "eavesdropping" on Americans and didn't Bush say that this was a "vital tool against terrorism"? I'm sure the constitution and the law says that this is not allowed......Oh, and how much does your President care for "missing" Americans? He never mentiones them in any speach and he hasn't mentioned Natalee's name once....With so many Americans missing in your own country, it would take him weeks to mention them all! And that's not even including the amount of Europeans and other foreigners missing in the US!

And finally, my daughter will NEVER be allowed to travel to NYC on her own. And even if she did, she would know better not to get drunk and get into a car with 3 strangers. Simple and common sense really!

You may travel to the US on just your passport unless you are staying more than 90 days and then you do need  a visa.

Unfortunately Americans were unsafe and targets well before the War on Terror.

I'm really sorry that you have such a view of Americans.  I think most people all over the world have the same hopes and dreams for themselves and their children.

As for the President and the eavesdropping, their are provisions in the law about national security.    Our previous President Clinton also used the same provision.

As far as the President and Natalee.  I'm not sure the connection or what your criticism of the president is, that he doesn't care about people?  I strongly disagree with you on that.  I'm sure you don't have as much coverage of our president as we do, especially in Europe, I suspect much of the press is negative so you don't have perhaps as balanced or fair view of him.
