Dr. Phil revisits some of his most amazing stories of the season. First, Tim and Anne Marie were desperate to save their mother, Sylvia, who was constantly talking to the voices in her head. After 10 weeks of treatment, see the inspirational turn Sylvia has taken. What will she say when she meets Dr. Phil face to face? Then, just over a month ago, two women told Dr. Phil how they fell victim to alleged con man and bigamist Ed Hicks. See how their story helped another woman and brought Hicks into police custody. Plus, 18-year-old Natalee Holloway disappeared last May during a senior class trip to the island of Aruba. Dr. Phil is joined by Natalee’s mother, Beth, her lawyer, and a consultant to the Aruban government who defends the work of the investigators. Have there been new revelations since the last time Beth appeared on the show? Could rescuers be on the brink of finding the missing teen? Talk about the show here.

Find out what happened on the show.

What about the other girl?

I know the pain of losing a child, but don't know what it's like to be in limbo.  I do hope that something will be done & that they will get the results required for healing & moving on.

I can understand that this is a recent event, so the best thing is to keep it in the light & not  let it fade into the background.  However, I can't help but wonder what happened to the other girl, on the previous show?  When they were talking about kidnappings & prostitution.  That girl that was taken from a cruise ship about 13 years ago & is assumed to be in the sex trade because of some pictures that look like her.  Along with the way that she was positioned to hide the tattoos that she had.  Is there any progress being done in her case?

It would be wonderful to have these families findt he healing that they truely need!  My prayers are will you all!

Do You Care?

Quote From: ninjai

You americans are so strange......

First of all I would like to say that these thing (kidnapping/murder/rape) never schould happen. Because it's terrible.

But the one thing I don't understand about the USA is: They would like that everyone is behaving as they say. So a american girl is lost in Aruba and Aruba should 'obey' the USA???? Why.

I am Dutch and the laws in Aruba are the same like ours. Those laws are good. Because if you look to american prisons there are innocent people out there. Because they were pressured by the police to say they did it.

(B.T.W I am NOT discussing now about if Joran is quilty or not ok, so please...)

Another thing I would like to add is another case, here in the Netherlands we have another gay who did crimes in the Netherlands. But he smugled stuf to the USA. The Dutch needed to give him to the americans because they wanted. HE IS DUTCH. And now there is prove that meanwile the investigation to the actions of the "Zwarte Cobra" (his name) the americans didn't respect our laws.

They broke it on cerveral points.

You can't say to other country's: You should treat us with respect, while in meanwhile you disrespect them.

I strongly belive you don't now enything about other countries. Americans only have a vission about there own beloning, and there wallet.

And by the way did you ever send 3 F-16 to search for a foreiner who was lost in ameica?

I hope tis discussion will be a lot better than the last one we had on these boards about Nathalee Holloway. Treat echtother with respect, and please, don't say: You are stupid / basterds / dump or that stuff. Everyone has a diffrent vission, and respect each other. Or it won't be a good discussion. On the last board it was more: Kill the Arubans and Dutch.

But comeon respect you have to earn, you can't take it by forse.

Have a nice day, Ninjai

Do you care about the end result?  Actions ALWAYS speak louder than words.  If people can get together & voice their options & act in a positive way that will drive a response, then so be it!

It's not about nationality or a certain type of people, but about a family who NEEDS answers, NOW!  A crime was committed & someone MUST be held accountable.

Why should guilty people walk, so other innocent people pay the price?  Does that seem fair to you?

In my opinion, they are guilty, because innocent people don't have to remember the truth & if these guys can't keep their stories straight.  What does that tell you?

Natalee Holloway & family

I think about Natalee and Her family almost every day.  Look on the internet for new information leading to finding natalee.  I still dont understand something.   WHERE WERE THE SHAPARONES DURING ALL THIS.  WHERE WERE NATALEE'S FRIENDS.  Has anyone there been questioned.  Does anyone know what happened.  I have never read anything about the adults that went on this trip with the students.....

01/19 Follow-ups

This is one missing person on one tiny island, the boycott is ridiculous. Alabama and Arkansas only need to look in their own backyards, they have scores more of missing persons cases their own law enforcement agencies can't solve.

The Aruban agencies are doing all they can, they have spent great sums of money and resources, but whatever they do, is not good enough for the family. Every family will feel that way on an unsolved case, but it's not fair to punish an entire island's livlihood. I also think the family has interfered, as well as the media. They have hurt the case by revealing information and meddling. .

One More Time, Because It is SO True!

Quote From: lliivvee

I can't believe I heard what Dr. Phil said, that there is help for mentally ill people in our country.  Yes there is help if you have money, privet insurance, or get on the Dr. Phil show.  Most mentally ill people do not have money, most have never been able to hold a job to get privet insurance, and well I do not think Dr. Phil can have them all on his show.

As an adult child of a parent who has this illness and has lived with it all her life I do apperciate the positive outlook on the illness, but lets face it we need to change in the USA and provide better care for the mentally ill.  My mother is Okay, but thats all just Okay, the system keeps her from totally losing her mind but if I or we had money I know she could be fully functunal.  Lets not pretend that the help is there if people ask for it, it is not.

I know that MY husband's insurance doesn't pay for ANY kind of mental health because it is seen as UNNECESSARY!!!!

Come on, Dr. Phil, let's get REAL! There is LITTLE help for those with mental health issues in this country unless you are rich or can get on a talk show.

Boycott Tourism

Quote From: wiseass

living in a state that relies heavily on tourist dollars I would like to remind those in favor of Boycott that Tourism works both ways... There are those of us here in America that depend on tourist dollars for our lively hood. We here in Florida have been boycotted by European tourists and others,  when a rash of violence against foreign tourists who were murdered at rest stops along our American highways and in our cities (Miami) took place right here in,  yes,  this self-righeous county.

In this state we have Thousands of foreign property owners, who vacation here and pay taxes on their properties. Should these people Boycott the USA (Florida) we here would suffer great financial loss. People losing jobs, homes etc etc.

America is more violent than many countries ( that are tourist destineations).  For many of the crimes committed on the tourists visiting here this state (country) could not provide answers, reasons, perpetrators etc. to families of those dead and injured. Think about the families (mothers, childrens etc) who WE could not give answers......

Tourism dollars fall directly into the hands of the public economic machine. It is only the general public that can make democratic change within a country. Somebody down in Aruba knows something. Pressure on the PUBLIC for information and the TRUTH about the investigation as to Natalee and her whereabouts must come forward. The government is sitting on their hands and has put this case in the filing cabinet.. . How many of these tourist dollars has the office of the Attorney General in Aruba spent on this issue? As a government head, maybe they need a little education in basic taxation 101. As an Attorney Generals office maybe they need a little education in financial accountability to the public..Look at the resources that have been available towards Justice in this country Aruba. Look at the poverty within the general public in Aruba. That tells it all. I'm not going to Aruba for my holidays. I'm not allowing my children to go there either.

Off to Aruba and Disappear!!!

Quote From: lolsmiley

It only takes a minute to express your distaste to Regis' producers. Tell them you'll note their advertisers and also tell them your views. It appalls me that any nationally televised program would blatantly promote travel to a God-forsaken place like Aruba after all the facts we've all gathered regarding Natalee Holloway. JOIN ME in also writing Regis and Betty Boop and join hands in giving Natalee a voice she herself will sadly never have.    Here's the toll free number: 800-330-1106 ( " Live with Regis and Kelly )
