REPLY...ERIN

Quote From: eniale1992

I had come on the message boards to see if anyone realized the same thing i had. Erin isn't in any of the pictures-there's picture of Marty, Alex, Katharine, and Nathan- but no pictures of Erin. I wonder if Marty and Erin got divorced. There's a picture of Marty sitting on a couch with both girls- but no Erin. Also, I can't really tell, but it almost looks as if the pictures are taken in a house that's similar but not identical to the house in the first one. I may be wrong, but those are just some of my thoughts as I've seen these film clips, and pictures. Wondering, enialE1992
Yes I am wondering the same thing. When Marty, Alex and Catherine walked on stage I heard Dr Phil say that Erin was home holding down the fort, but she has managed to be there all the other times.........so it really does have me wondering how things are with her and Marty, and the girls really..............you would think this would be the one show she would not have wanted to miss! Anyone else have any thoughts?? Oh just have to say that Nathan is SUCH a beautiful little boy!

My heart went out to Erin when this family frist come to TV to share their story.  I was looking forward to seeing and hearing from Erin.  Oh, sure the girls are prettier than ever.  Dad is all smiles.  And the baby is a "doll".  But Erin was NOT there!  "FAMILY" means just that .  A new saddle for one and a new pickup for the other....yet another trip for dad.  Sooooo when does Erin get recognition.  I still feel that this family is not complete or mom would have been with the FAMILY.  And when is something special done for her????

Erin was "holding down the fort" when this story aired.  It seems that she is still "holding down the fort".  My heart goes out to her.  She has "weathered" more than one storm and more than one at a time.  Seems the "sun is shining" for some and not for others.

My heart goes out to her and my thoughts are with HER!
Yes I am replying again, Dr Phil I think ALOT of people are not buying the "holding down the fort" thing, what is reallllllly going on with Erin, it is SO unbelievable she was not there. Oh and all the comments about the truck.........I raised 2 girls all by myself.........so......can I have a truck too?? :) tee hee!

REPLY....TRUCK

Quote From: jamloed

I don't even think they are GIFTS from Dr. Phil!!! He didn't go out and BUY a truck for Alex!!!

They are advertisements!!! Chevy is trying to sell their truck!! They know that millions of people watch the show and they donate the truck as a way to increase their sales!!

I do agree that it was rediculous to give this truck to Alex--how the heck is she ever going to be able to pay for the gas and upkeep of that monstrous thing???

Why not give that truck to someone who could really use it...Dr Phil is from Oklahoma and Texas isn't he??? I'm sure he knows at least one struggling famer who could use it. Why give it to this teen age girl who probably works making minimum wage somewhere and won't be able to manage taking care of it???

I don't know why they do what they do. I am getting tired of seeing all of these people on the show who get REWARDED with ridiculous gifts for willingly showing how badly they've messed up their lives.

Come one!!! Why can't they show that there are some really good, honest loving families out there and then reward them for living their entire lives as honest and hardworking responsible citizens???

I love Dr. Phil and have been watching him since he was on Oprah. I  know he helps so many people. But it would be nice to turn on the show one day and see him reward someone ordinary and honest who didn't mess up a number of other lives as well as their own. But I guess that wouldn't make good television--no one would watch because it's too boring...oh well...

Just my thoughts...

SORRY DR PHIL

I love ya but really, this is one of the main problems we as a society have today, media covering stories like these 24 hours a day when we should be demanding to be informed about issues of REAL concern. Young girls see all this attention being paid to these women, for what?? Are they peacemakers? Do they save lives? Are they fighting to make the world a better place?? Do they worry about the poor in this country with no health ins?? Helping break the buerocratic red tape to get Katrina victims the money they have coming to them?? NO OK you get my drift. I am sorry for these women, their problems. But this is not as much of a concern to alot of us as, maybe the soldiers coming home from Iraq who once they get home, have very little compensation from our gov't.

Like I said, LOVE YA!

SLAZAR
