I had come on the message boards to see if anyone realized the same thing i had. Erin isn't in any of the pictures-there's picture of Marty, Alex, Katharine, and Nathan- but no pictures of Erin. I wonder if Marty and Erin got divorced. There's a picture of Marty sitting on a couch with both girls- but no Erin. Also, I can't really tell, but it almost looks as if the pictures are taken in a house that's similar but not identical to the house in the first one. I may be wrong, but those are just some of my thoughts as I've seen these film clips, and pictures. Wondering, enialE1992

Erin was "holding down the fort" when this story aired.  It seems that she is still "holding down the fort".  My heart goes out to her.  She has "weathered" more than one storm and more than one at a time.  Seems the "sun is shining" for some and not for others.

My heart goes out to her and my thoughts are with HER!

They are advertisements!!! Chevy is trying to sell their truck!! They know that millions of people watch the show and they donate the truck as a way to increase their sales!!  

   

I do agree that it was rediculous to give this truck to Alex--how the heck is she ever going to be able to pay for the gas and upkeep of that monstrous thing???  

   

Why not give that truck to someone who could really use it...Dr Phil is from Oklahoma and Texas isn't he??? I'm sure he knows at least one struggling famer who could use it. Why give it to this teen age girl who probably works making minimum wage somewhere and won't be able to manage taking care of it???  

   

I don't know why they do what they do. I am getting tired of seeing all of these people on the show who get REWARDED with ridiculous gifts for willingly showing how badly they've messed up their lives.  

   

Come one!!! Why can't they show that there are some really good, honest loving families out there and then reward them for living their entire lives as honest and hardworking responsible citizens???   

   

I love Dr. Phil and have been watching him since he was on Oprah. I  know he helps so many people. But it would be nice to turn on the show one day and see him reward someone ordinary and honest who didn't mess up a number of other lives as well as their own. But I guess that wouldn't make good television--no one would watch because it's too boring...oh well...  

   

Just my thoughts...
