Mark you have more excuses than a balking chicken.  Balk Balk Balk.

I know that's not nice to say but your excuses are sad.  Did you try to get a job at Walmart?  They always need night stockers in their stores.  You get a salary, a yearly bonus, benefits and a 10% discount (not on food though).

Living in New Jersey is expensive, Mark.  However, there are programs, like affordable housing if you need it.  What if you got sick?  Who would pay the hospital bill?  I think you have a lot of nerve doing this to your family. 

Now... the guy that got this new lady pregnant.  She can't see past her nose.  She feels everyone is wrong about Ryan.  When she runs out of resources, he'll run out on her & impregnate another woman.  He pays no child support but claims he gives the baby what he needs.  Dr. Phil, its stories like these that make me think you're too nice.  LOL, they need a dose of Judge Judy.  I love when Judge Judy says "...you know 10 million people are watching this." 

I know this is an old topic and Britney doesn't want help. 

I read on today's AOL that Britney is at Mel Gibson's private beach in South America.

Dr. Phil, tell me why they don't give Britney privacy?  I posted not too long ago on your site (somewhere) Britney needs to go somewhere no one ever heard of her.  Paparazzi seems to keep snapping away cause they want the cash for the pictures."  Why?  It seems like she is trying to get away and have quiet time.  I don't think there is a place for Britney to get away and refocus.  LOL, even my suggestion Britney going to say a celebrity's private island.  Then I read my 2nd paragraph again in this message, Britney couldn't even go to Mel Gibson's private beach.

Anyway, I know you tried to help her not for a story... out of concern.  Maybe when things quiet down LOL and if YOU buy an island (just kidding), she will maybe have a metamorphasis... you want to help and she'll talk to you.  I don't want the story.  I don't want to know what the conclusion is.  I just wish Britney will get the help and guidance she needs.

...then I think what or who will be the papparazzi's next victim?

OK I am a large woman also.  I get my clothes at Walmart and also Freecycle.  I always see postings from women who "had the surgery" and have eons of size 4X, 3X, 2X and 1X to give away.  Craigs List also has a free area where you can find (once in a while) clothing.  And yes, some of the clothing is designer clothing.

Linda, if you go on line and try womanwithin.com and then go on couponmountain, you can get coupon codes to stretch your clothing allowance.  Actually there are a bunch of coupon codes you can use. 

I am 50 and fat.  I am also 50, fat and frugal.  Linda good luck to you.

PS If you look up NAAFA that is an organization for people of size.  NAAFA is an advocacy group for people that are of size.  There may be references where to buy clothing and other things for you.

Jennifer, I am so glad Dr. Phil did a follow-up on your story.  I refer to your story many times in some of the topics.  You taught me alot how to walk away and never look back.  I hope you got your divorce. 

Stay safe and let us know how you are doing.  This was a repeat from January 08, so I hope you are still doing well.  I have a feeling you're safe and enjoying your life.  That makes me very glad.

I found a site thats pretty good regarding budgeting.

Its a religious site, but if you're not Christian you can still use the tools that are offered.

The site is called Crown.org.  There are also podcasts and tapes you can listen to. 

My husband was recently fired from his job and we needed tools to budget with my income alone.  So far, we aren't drowning.  OK well our mouths are under water but thank goodness we can breathe through our nose.

Dr. Phil, how about this for an invention............ adult bibs.  I put a cloth napkin on my shirt.  LOL the stain ends up where?  ON MY SLEEVE.  My spouse, who meets me for lunch, laughs how this always happens to me.  The only thing I don't spill is ice cream (go figure).

Dr. Phil, some of the television shows, for example, "Flip that House", they show how folks buy properties, clean them up and flip them for a profit.  They try and fix a house before the first (or second) mortgage payment is due.  Why I'm thinking this,... some shows make it easy to think big.  They only show bits and pieces of the sweat equity.  It takes more than Dorothy's red shoes.... it takes passion, a lot of planning, experience and hard work.
