My heart goes out to Natalie and her parents and I pray for them each night. But a warning to all parents. Be careful what you let your teenagers do and who the adults on the trip are. This can, as it has with Natalie, have consequences beyond what you can foresee? Accidents can happen but in areas of the world where Americans are looked upon as easy targets, your children need constant supervision.

Many of these High School Trips are basically unsupervised or supervised barely. The teens are let go anywhere without adults accompanying them. Each year, we hear of teens going missing and even college level students and in this day and age; one mistake (unlike my teen years) can cost a teenager his or her life. Parents be careful of your most precious gift becuase out in the world there are maniacs who will take their lives.
