hi gorgeous 294ever XXX {EOM}

Good Day! Lee:

I am sooooo happy to see you on board. I haven’t had a chance

to read any of your post, but just seeing your handsome face, I

know you’re alive and well Down Under. I’m sure you’re finding

out how confusing and time consuming this new board is to navigate.

With the amount of messages posted daily it’s almost impossible to

catch up on post/posters and respond. A lot of member’s feel they’re

being ignored because they can’t find their post and/or if anyone

responded to it. This board is soooo antiquated in its format. It

desperately needs (a Collapsed Thread} an OUTLINE VIEW of all

messages posted. Oh well! What more can I say.

GOD Bless you my friend.

Sista Lidi and All!

After our discussion the other day I just

had to post this article taken from our l

ocal paper. It seems my prayers were

answered . Now we are a community that

cares. I hope anyone in need of help will see

this post and contact their local United Way.

Hi Sisti Lidi

How are you managing today in that heat! I bet the cactus are even sweating today!haha Have a wonderful day! Hugs and prayers!

I love the heat and my plants are all drought resistant.

When the temp goes below 80-85 degrees, I'm freezing.

Thankfully, I started menopause early circa 45 y.o and

I'm a few years past those dreaded night sweats and

HOT flashes.  LOL!

Hi HisJewel

Quote From: hisjewel

wow you are like super cold natured wow!!!  Have you always been like that

Yeah!  I've always been intolerant of  cold weather.  It has

a lot to do with my thyroid disorder.  My body temp runs

about 93/94 degrees all the time.  I was born in Michigan

and thankfully at 7 y.o we moved west.  You could literally

call be a 'Cold Blooded Mother.'  It wouldn't hurt my feelings

one bit.  LOL!

I love that cute little unicorn. Heavens to Betsy no more hotflashes and night sweats! There will come an ending to this madness! There is a God up there looking out for us women!haha 29 you have gotten spoiled in that heat! You would have icesicles on your eyelashes in the winter here!haha I love the cool not the cold I can't wait until September with the Indian summer my favorite. Hot in the daytime and cool at night.

With me the HOT flashes and night sweats went on

for about 7-8 years.  After that I would get them

every once in awhile,  but I would blame it one the

weather LOL!  Now, I can't even remember when I

had my last HOT flash.   Now, about ending the madness,

I'm not too sure.  I still have that going on

well ???

Quote From: hisjewel

i think it is crazy how something like a thyroid problem can do that and so many other things to our body............  someone was just telling me about that the other day how it can make you cold i never knew until then............  isn't it annoying being cold all the time LOL

You would be surprise to know how important it is to have

a working thyroid.  My PCP tells me the Thyroid Gland/Hormones

is in essence the motor that runs our whole body.  Mentally,

as well as physically.  The cold come from the inside out.  If

that make sense to you.  In the Winter, no matter how much

I wear, I'm still cold.

Hi again

i wonder what causes our thyroid to get all out of wack......... hmmmm just a thought.......  wow mentally i didnt' know that that is something new for me.........  yeah i know what you mean cold fromt he inside out!!!  ooooo yes you bet i do!!!!  i used to be like super hot natured but i have always got cold a lot easier in a airconditioned place then i do in outside cold for somereason

The #1 leading Thyroid disorder is depression.  When

you have time check out Thyroid disorders.  There's

Hypothyroidism (which I have) and Hyperthyroidism.

Like Diabetes it is genetic.  My mother had Thyroid

Disease and my father was a Diabetic.  I have 9 sisters

and they're all Diabetic's and I'm the only one with

Thyroid Disease.  Go figger!

GOOD MORNING Everyone!

Here’s something to read and think about when the board get slow.

I've learned....That life is like a roll of toilet paper.
The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes.

I've learned....That we should be glad God doesn't give us
everything we ask for.

I've learned....That money doesn't buy class.

I've learned...That it's those small daily happenings
that make life so spectacular.

I've learned.! ..That under everyone's hard shell is someone
who wants to be appreciated and loved.

I've learned....That the Lord didn't do it all in one day.
What makes me think I can?

I've learned....That to ignore the facts does not change the facts.

I've learned....That when you plan to get even with someone,
you are only letting that person continue to hurt you.

I've learned...That the easiest way for me to grow as a person
is to surround myself with people smarter than I am.

I've learned....That there's nothing sweeter than sleeping
with your babies and feeling their breath on your cheeks.

I've learned....That life is tough, but I'm tougher..

I've learned...That when you harbor bitterness, happiness
will dock elsewhere.

I've learned...That I wish I could have told those I cared
about that I love them one more time before they passed away.

I've learned....That one should keep his words both soft and
tender, because tomorrow he may have to eat them.

I've learned....That I can't choose how I feel, but I can
choose what I do about it.

I've learned....That when your newly born child holds your
little finger in his little fist, that you're hooked for life.
