Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone continues to work their plan to the next level.  We all have come so far with this program and are all seeing good results!   

  

I have been busy and not on the computer that is acting up with this message board and my messages are timing out and not being posted.    

  

I have continued to keep my Journal and exercise and make good choices with the foods.

Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone had a good weekend and it sounds like everyone had a heavy heart along with me!  Four years later and it feels like it was yesterday.  I watched the Discovery Channel broadcast of the movie "The Flight that Fought Back" which is about the crash of Flight 93 that happened about an hour from my house.  Scarey to think that plane flew over this area on the path toward Washington, D.C..  Those passengers were true heros.   

  

Work the plan and especially on those areas where you need more concentration.

Hello Everyone!

I am taking time to type message to you all but when I hit the send key they must have timed out and don't show up on the boards.  I hope when I up grade my system on this computer that non sense stops!

BTW Everyone is doing a great job!  I am still able to read the messages except for the ones that are not getting sent!  Hope the new season brings New Hope to everyone!

Timing out

It does not seem to matter the lenght of the message.  I have lost short ones and long ones.  I can not always remember to copy a message before I hit sent and if I hit back on my browser it takes me right back to the page that I signed in on and not to a message.  I think it really has something to do with this system needing to be upgraded and having low disc space.  

  

I am exercising and eating properly and hope this message posts!

Welcome tmarcia !

I am 55 and been here for two years also and I have lost over 100 pounds and have a few more to loose.  I am not worried how long it takes I know it takes time to change old habits.  I use a Journal to keep me on track and find it helpful to keep me organized as I go thru each day, week, month or year.  I just started out with an index card where I listed the 7 keys and worked on them each day making small changes.  Slowly I added things to that and made a page in my Journal to keep track of exercise, menus and thoughts and also wrote down anything I found difficult to remember.  My Journal has really grown to more than a calendar or index card for a book mark.  I Own the Ultimate Weight Solution (7 Keys to WEight Loss Freedom) Book and also the Food Guide companion book!  Glad you have joined this group!   Work all the keys and you will overcome your fear of sliding backwards to old behaviors.  We are all learning to change our lifestyles!

Hello Everyone!

My computer is limping alone and trying very hard to keep up with all the new stuff.  I am not ready to retire it yet! 

  

I am doing good and hope to get online at a regular pace soon!

This is a lifestyle change and it takes time to get it together but as you read a page make notes or write in the margins those little hints that will apply to you and start to put them into action.  Read and build a good program for yourself and work the exercise at your level.  Even if you walk in place to your favorite song or dance during a one minute commercial it will be a great start to your exercise program.  I also found Journaling and writing down my daily menus and keeping track of how I feel with a word or phrase or a paragraph really helped.  I started out with an index card and went over the keys daily making changes or writing down where I should have done it another way.  My job was to slowly make chanages each day.  Ones that I knew I could do and could feel like I was accomplishing something.  Also jotting down things that would take more concentration.  With that little daily effort I seen many changes in how my body was responding.  More energy, more stamina, keeping the journal showed me my steady progress to a new lifestyle.   Hope you have sucess as I did.  I am sure you are ready to Make a Difference and Make it Happen!

It’s Halloween! It’s Halloween!
The moon is full and bright,
And we shall see what can’t be seen
On any other night. 

Skeletons and ghosts and ghouls,
Grinning goblins fighting duels,
Werewolves rising from their tombs,
Witches on their magic brooms. 

In masks and gowns,
We haunt the streets,
And knock on doors,
For trick or treats. 

Tonight we are
The king and queen,
For oh tonight,
