Becky: Happy Anniversary! Me too today. I figured if we got married on Valentines he would never forget. I wanted to go out dancing but my hubby does not. Guess I'll bake a cake and grill hamburgers outside. The weather is due to get cold again tomorrow.
Linda: Glad to hear you and Eli are keeping things going. I sure hope you don't get sick. Yesterday I felt pretty good for a change. The scale says I'm all better. I had lost 5 lbs with the illness. Well I found it! Time to try getting outside and doing a walk. Still to much coughing for a run.
Marcia:So how goes the classes and job? It will be a challenge to keep up with all your activity's once you start working.
My day will consist of the usual housework. Which my family tried to keep up with while I was down. Also I'm going to check out a new horse for the neighbor girl this morning. Then wait on the TV repairman. This TV is not that old and they have had to fix it once already. I sure hope it's still under warranty. We have been down to one truck since the big one went out . The alternator , battery's (it has 2 it's a diesel),sensor, and a short. Thankfully that was still under warranty. The 30,000 mile checkup was NOT. Neither the new tires! Unfortunately we had to pay in on taxes this year. I wish that refund check they passed into law would hurry up! lol
Have a great Day.
PS this is also a venting Board!
That sure BITES when you lose 5 pounds, then it sneaks up on you and says "here I am" !!!! I know I'm at a stand still with weight right now, but I also seemed to be doing just the minimum too. What I wanted to do yesterday 30 minutes of walking then 15 on Eli,,,,,,,well none of that happen.
My sister called and my mom was not feeling well so asked if i would come out there to help with mother. As it turns out it was a anxiety attack, she was fine after about 20 minutes. But that took up the whole afternoon. But at least everything was fine with mom. Today she comes here. If she knows we are going somewhere, well you can guess it, she starts to not feel well, and just all the symptoms of just about everything. This has happen at least 100 times, you would think we would have caught on by now, but nooooo. At her age we don't take things lightly !!!! We never leave her more than one hour at a time, any longer, and then we make other arrangements.
When you talked of checking out the horse for your neighbor. Do you train horses? Or board them? Might be a good side job at home, especially for people that live in town and need a place for their horses. Just saw the movie "Murphy's Romance", with Sally Field and James Garner, and thought of you. Just a thought, on working at home.
Yes I think too, this is a good venting board. If I can't lose any weight right now, at least I can lose some steam.............hehehehehe
Marcia----where are you???????????
Becky------how's everything????
I wished that blank spot where you put your mood, we could put what we feel not what is offered.
