Bedtime, finally

Quote From: thewench1

I have seen this before and I still find it funny!!! You must be getting ready to either be folding the papers or heading for bed. I hope you have a great day night either way.

Hugs Heather

Yep, posted that right before I had to role the papers.  Finally got done with that, and now it is off to bed.

To everyone who's day is about to start, have a great day!

This is supposed to be a hugging smiley, can y'all tell?

Goodnight, everyone!

Linda

Mornin', no, I don't think we have met yet.  I've only been active again for a couple of months.  It's great to meet you!

Everyone's losses are terrific!  Aargh!   I have to find a place to weigh myself!  Still haven't found my scale, which is just the oddest thing....

Anyway, have a great day everyone!  It's housecleaning and a haircut for me today!

Hugs,
Tabitha

Just reading...

Got my haircut today, and boy what a difference a couple of inches makes.  It was to the middle of my back, now it just about an inch below my shoulders and long layers.   It feels good, and I really felt...sexy today.  Anyway, off to spend some time with the kids before bed time.

Hugs,
Tabitha

Mornin'

Anita, thank you!  It is so nice to hear from survivors!  My son will be 3 in February, and he is so intelligent it is scary.  And he is strong.  I told y'all we deliver newspapers, well one night, we had to roll and bag them in the livving room because of the rain.  Well, my son had woken up.  When my first bundle was running low on papers, I asked my dh to get one for me.  They are almost 50 pounds each, and my back was hurting that night.  My ds says "I get it Mommy"  and walked over to the stack of bundles, picked it up and struggled a bit to get it halfway to the table.  The next time he picked one up, he got it all the way to the table.  Third time being a charm, he got it all the way onto the table.  if I hadn't been so amazed, I would have stopped him from picking up such a heavey object, especially three times.

Anyway, it's an early morning for me.  Got woken up by cramps, and won't be going  back to bed until a nap later.  DH is on vacation this week, so we are working on some housework that really needs to get done, some ig jobs that I need his help with.  I'm making a slip cover for my couch.  It's going to be interesting, no pattern.  I'll take a before picture this afternoon or tomorrow and an after picture when I am done and would like y'alls opinion on it.

Well, I am off to clean the house now.  Got my vacuum  cleaner repaired and was finally able to vacuum up that baby powder yesterday.  However, when I started vacuuming, powder shot out of the filter creating a cloud in the living room, almost causing an asthma attack.  I didn't know the repairshop had discarded the old vacuum cleaner bag....it wasn't full or anything.  LOL, it's only funny because because I didn't have an attack.  And my dh sent me outside while he vacuumed up the powder.  My poor entertainment center looked like it had been dusted for prints or something, just covered in baby powder.

Everyone have a great day!   Hugs to all you guys.

Mornin/ and G'night all!

Cat, I'll keep your grandmother in my thoughts.   Take care, and have a good day!

Heather, my computer crashes everytime my dh tries to use a particular program he downloaded.  Good luck with the car, hope everything turns out all right.

Well, it's been a long day.  Did a lot of walking today, but pms is kicking my butt.  So, I'm off to finish up some housework, then it's off to bed with me.  Have a great night or a great day everyone!

Right thinking....

Couldn't sleep, and can't find my UWLS book!  Aaargh!  But, I have read and worked through the entire book once, in the past year....Anyway, I had a major breakthrough these past couple of days.  It has nothing to do with my weightloss efforts, but has everything to do with right thinking.  I have decided to go back to school.  Not only that, I have decided to shoot for the moon.  Ten years ago, I wanted to be a teacher, and English teacher.  I was nineteen and ran into some trouble with my boyfriend, and I ran away from my life.  Well, when I was 23, I got my life back on track, but since that time, I have been living my life ashamed of my past and ashamed of my life.  Living like a second class citizen.  No wonder my weightloss efforts have failed!  I've been thinking about going back to school for a while now, and this morning, in the wee hours, I decided to go for it!  It's time I got my thinking right and stopped living life like I didn't deserve anything better.  I deserve a better life, my children deserve a healthy mother who loves and respects herself.  And my husband deserves a wife who cares about herself and takes care of herself.

I am scared to death.  It's been comfortable living life as in the midst of 'stinkin' thinkin', it hasn't required any effort.  It hasn't opened up the doors to failure and rejection.  It also hasn't opened any doors to the great things that I can accomplish.  It has kept closed the doors to a better financial outlook for my family.  It has kept closed the doors of a healthier and happier me.    And I am tired of it.  I am tired of  allowing my negative thinking to interfere wiih my life.

Right choices in a restaurant....

I meant to share this earlier in the week.  Monday, we went to my favorite restaurant to eat dinner.  Golden Corral.  It has been a long time since we've eaten there.  Well, it's a buffett, and I was worried.  But I had a nice salad with fat free ranch dressing.  And I drank TEA!  Instead of ordering the usual Dr. Pepper.  Their tea is so much better than my own.  I make it with tap water and it turns out so cloudy.  I asked the manager how they make their tea that it tastes so good and is so clear.  He said to use RO water.  So, that is what I will be doing from now on!  Ugh, I haven't been able to stomach the tap water tea that I'd been making at home.

Anway, after eating a salad, I ate a lot less other foods.  And had very little desert.  In fact, just a couple of bites of a brownie.  It ended up being too sweet to eat!  HA!  I am really proud of myself.

Anyway, have a good night's rest ladies!
