Pray for the Holloway/Twitty family

I think we have given the Aruban government long enough to do nothing like they have been doing.  It is odd to me after the hurricane hit and they thought no one was paying attention that they let these guys go. I wonder what the Daddy Juge is hiding.   I encourage people not  to go to Aruba.  I would really not be afraid to go there but we really need to put the pressure on the government.  I feel so sorry for Beth and family.  I don't think I could keep my composure as well as they have if one of my kids were missing.  I think they have been real patient.  Also about the black woman that was murdered by her boyfriend, I saw that on Greta every night for a few weeks.  I don't think it has anything to do with color.  The people that said they have not seen anything on TV about this woman must not watch FOX.  That was so sad .

Aruba's government

I think if Americans put the pressure on Aruba then it will hit their government in the wallet.  Then maybe their citizens will also put the pressure on the government.  I think  Van der Sloot's dad has a lot of influence there so maybe that is why they are not doing anything about this case.  I think it is disgusting.   I couldn't believe how coldhearted Depok sounded today about Natalee.   I know Natalee's dad lives in Mississippi.  I wonder if he had any problems since the hurricane hit.

Judge's property

Quote From: scalliwags

Dr. Phil, thank the Lord you are now getting involved.  I just cannot understand why they cannot search the judges property, I have a feeling Natalie may be down their well...have felt this for a long time....to the family just know our thoughts and prayers are with you all.  The Greater Judge is watching from above.....I still pray nightly that justice will be served, so stay on their backs, maybe can we do it from here.....
I absolutely agree with you about searching the judge's property.  I think they might find her there.  I can't see why they can't get a court order to go in and search.

MADE ME SO MAD

At first when I started watching the show it made me so mad that I had to turn the TV.  I cannot believe a mom that is suppose to love her child would treat the little girl that way.  Sometime I think these people that are on the show are so unbelievable that I think surely they cannot feel that way they just pretend so that they can be on TV.  The first Mom that was on the show was attractive until she opened her mouth and after I heard what she had to say she wasn't the least bit pretty anymore.  The second Mom that wouldn't let her kids play with unattractive kids was smiling all during the show.  She made me sick.  I couldn't believe that she was on Dr. Phil show and talking about the way he looks.  She needs to have her head examined.  I noticed in the last few days that Jay is now engaged to his girlfriend.

It is a shame

My boys are 30 and 28, when they were young we could let them play out all day and they would come in to eat and go back and play.  If my kids were young now I would be afraid to let them go out unless I could see exactly where they were.  I worry now about my grandchildren.  They will never be able to go out and play so freely like their dad did.  It makes me sad.

10????

Quote From: tkillgore

I have three children of my own, and they are too young ot go anywhere now, but once they are around 10, I think I will be able to trust them to go see a movie, or go tot he mall with their friends to shop, and that they will be responsible, and onl;y do thing's that I would approve of. I guess we will see. I just hope that I will not be an overprotective mom, so that way my children don't become annoyed, or miss out on anything.
Of course, it is your decision .  To me, 10 is way too young.

Don't blame you

Quote From: mommyblues

I have a 9 year old and i live 2 blocks from the school and i will NOT let her walk. She has freinds who do. and that is fine for them. But i have seen and heard of  kids missing on there way to school. I have worked my job around them to be here with them. I love them to much to let  them get hurt .

If my kids were 9 now I would not let them walk to school either.

NO NOT ONE

I think a lot of people are sick wanting to be like their favorite stars.  There is not one of them that I would want to be like.  I did see a show one night about the celebs being caught with no make-up and normal clothes.  They look the same as everyone else.  We are giving these people way to much attention that they do not deserve.

Aruba NO WAY

I know there are nice people in Aruba but I hope the boycott works and people stay away.  There is no way I would ever go there.  Matter of fact, I would rather stay in the good ole USA>

Sad

It was sad watching the brides today.  I could not watch it all because it was sickening.  I had only known my husband for 3 months.  We had a real small wedding in the pastor's office at the church.  We have been happily married for 33 years.  No regrets at all.
