09/15 The Disappearance of Natalee

I would like to know how many of you have ever been to Aruba, or out of the country. I have been to Aruba many times, just got back a week ago and am going for 6 more between Nov.-March. Aruba is one of the safest islands which is why I go there. I have been to Mexico, Jamaica, Freeport in the Bahamas, Costa Rica, and Panama and was petrified to walk alone during the day, never mind night. I have also been to Antigua, Puerto Rico, and Barbados, and would never walk alone at night at either of those places. In Aruba I always walk alone at night because it is SAFE! I should mention I am an early 40's woman. The whole island of Aruba should not take the fall for something that happened in which 3-4 people may or may not be involved. Take a look at this website: http://travel.state.gov/family/family_issues/death/death_594.html and Aruba does not even make the list. What about all the people missing in Mexico and Jamaica where the police did not help at all. All Aruban government employees had a half day of work, then the second half was spent looking for Natalee. This was all Aruban Government employees. This was in the beginning of all of this. Beth may have caused issues when she immediately started being the judge, jury and executioner for the three boys and Joran's father. She went immediately to the Van der Sloot home and accused him within hours of getting off the plane. She, herself, may have interfered with the investigation, and also clued Joran in that he was a suspect, which would have given him time to change his story or hide the body, this if he really is guilty. Beth is trying to run the show and if someone does not agree with her, she resents it. As someone else said, who would let an 18 year old go on a trip which was VERY poorly supervised and was not school sponsored? There were no bed checks, not meeting times or areas while on the trip. Supposedly the "chaperone's" were only there in case of illness. Why did only one "chaparone" stay when the finally figured out she was missing about 9-10 hours later? Why did it take so long to figure out she was missing? Because there really were no REAL chaperone's, they were just adults on the trip who could be called in if needed. Why are none of the other kids from the school talking? Initially they were and they have changed their stories from Natalee yelling out the Kalpoe car window "Woo Aruba!" to some saying they begged her not to get in the car, and now they say they did not see her get in the car. Now Beth says that she knows for a fact that her daughter thought the car was a taxi. How could she know that? The kids initially said she was not drinking, now they say she was. At this point, Beth will do anything to keep the story in the news. What ever happened to the CT honeymooner that is missing? You never hear anything about that anymore. Beth needs to let things take their course and let the police do their job.

09/15 The Disappearance of Natalee

Quote From: jbalke

Beth and Natalee Holloway (and their family) are just as much victims of Hurricane Katrina as the people of the Gulf Coast, especially those who lost family members to violence there. If the "happy island" of Aruba thinks that Americans have not noticed that as soon as the world's media was focused elsewhere, that they released these slimeballs from custody, they can just go "check their foot" as my father in law used to say. We know exactly what they've been up to all along-a GIANT COVERUP! Anyone, American or otherwise, who goes there, knowing what happened in this case, is not only falling for this crap, but actually making the statement that it was perfectly okay for Aruban authorities to treat a tourist this way. Wise up, folks! They only want your MONEY. They don't give a damn about YOU.  There are just too many other equally nice or better islands to vacation on. WHO NEEDS ARUBA and THEIR INCOMPENT POLICE DEPARTMENT and their nasty attitude.
Beth, Jug and the rest of Natalee's family and friends, God be with you. You will be in our hearts and prayers until you find your answers.

By the way...if you watch the news, Joran's time was up and needed to either get out of jail or be charged. It just happened to coincide with the hurricane . It was common knowledge by those who follow it, that the date was coming (9/4) and a decision had to be made. You must not have been watching all the shows that kept saying it. Try to get all the transcripts of the 5+ shows nightly that aired the story since her disappearance. Can't wait to return to my home away from home - Aruba - in Nov.

09/15 The Disappearance of Natalee

Funny, I was watching a show the other night and they had a person on from the authorities of Aruba regarding the tape of Deepak. The authority said that the only way Dr. Phil would give this tape of Deepak is if the prosecutor went on his show and he handed it to her. Obviously Dr. Phil paid for Jamie Skeeters to be over there. Now they have info. with no way to get it unless Karin Janssen goes on Dr. Phil's show which she won't.

Looking forward...25 days until my next trip to Aruba!
