Just this past Sunday my nephew flew in from Upstate NY to live with me. Last night we had a long talk and he told me that he has never felt loved, that if he overdosed on drugs nobody would even notice that he was gone. He also went on to tell me that he has been doing crack cocaine every day for the past year. He claims that how he paid for his habit is the dealers used him to deliver the drugs. 

When we talked he said that he thinks he can stay away from the crack (which I personally doubt) but he could NEVER stay away from the pot. He tells me that he is going crazy without it and has to find some and get high 

I am already in a situation where I am trying to save my marriage. My husband has been gone for 3 weeks on a Pilgrimage to Mecca and will be back soon. 

My nephew is 20 years old, His mother ( my sister ) a year ago left his father after 25 years of marriage. His mother is now in a gay relationship ( which he does not like at all ). His father needs medication to control his "moods" and is not taking them.  

If I send him back he will go right back to the drugs and be living with a father who is not normal.  His father is already calling saying "If you are not back in a month I am going to quit my job and come out there and get you!! "  

He wants help but I think this is over my head.  

I do not want to let him down. He already has had so many disappointments in his life. 

What do I do next ?? 

Take care of yourself, and your husband,  kids are first if you have any.  Maybe Counseling? 

Go to al-anon. Ask your nephew to go to N/A..  many treatment centers.  

It is  very difficult situation..  Been thru it.

The reason, we have Indentity Crisis.    Women take birth control Pills,  The longer in the family tree,   Like 7 generations.  That is why.  Hormones in milk, eggs, Meat..  I am a  100 %male.. 

I do not want you to learn to much..   What Chromosomes are they..  Rna..Dna  3, 29? 

Empathy.. 

You do not want to lick a birth control pill on the 3 day..  87% Better chance of having a girl..

I barely listened to the show, but hubby came home commenting on this particular episode,  

which was apparently on a co-worker's television.  

Could someone please clarify what Dr. Phil's intention was when he told the guests that 

a step parent has no business, no say in anything related to the child, that the parents and 

the parents alone should tend to the child? 

Please tell me hubby misunderstood Dr. Phil. I can't believe he would say something so bizarre. 

I'll delay making further comment in case hubs misunderstood. 

Thank goodness for the posters who see Chris for what he is, for instance the one who suggested that Chris is a time bomb and the poster who told Angela to run, run, run. Absolutely!! 

I'm all for giving people second chances and for kids having access to both parents IF the parents are stable. Can anyone who truly observed Chris's demeanour on that show and considered it against the backdrop of his violent, antisocial track record say that he should be in his child's life. I find that appalling. I'd be VERY surprised if Dr. Phil actually believes that a psychologist would sanction Chris's parental visits. Somehow I think he doesn't and rightfully so. However, Dr. Phil has to come across reasonable and fair. 

Those of you who say he deserves another chance, I implore you to look up firesetting, cruelty to animals, violence, anger management issues and in my opinion pathological lying (all together) on the internet and learn what that amounts to, and then see if you can find it in your heart to say this vulnerable little girl should have any contact with this individual. Some people CANNOT be rebalitated. Some of you ask whether he would want a person like himself to have access to his little girl. I suggest he wouldn't know the answer because in my opinion he lacks empathy.  

I believe I know what Chris is not because I know him personally, but I've known his type. As bad as they were, he seems MUCH worse. The fact is I found him blood chilling.
