Who says you're not good enough???

Quote From: slayereve

Maybe, but I feel like guys will never like me, because I'm not good enough...and I don't know what to do or how to change, so that I can be who they want in a girlfriend.
As long as you THINK you're not good enough, men will pick up on that and stay away from you. You need to literally CHANGE YOUR MIND. There is a book by that title, written by Angela Treat Lyon. It's all about EFT -  Emotional Freedom Technique - it's about changing your thought processes by tapping into your subconscious mind and releasing all the negative messages. Check out her website at www.EFTbooks.com - she has weekly teleclasses and I've been listening in for a few months and have her book - very cool! I think you'll find it helpful and quite amazing!

There is help!

Quote From: giggley1

My normally low key daughter can snap in an instant over her math anxiety  throwing pencils, yelling, total meltdown, and when it comes to tests of any kind forget it. Even in subjects where she knows things backwards and forwards she still stresses so bad that she can't do her best. I don't know if her anxiety affected my son or if he has the problem too but he too stresses out on tests. These are intelligent kids I wish that they could learn how to relax so that they can give the performance I know they are capable of. I too had this when I was in school I would know things backwards and forwards and could get the whole picture perfectly but when it came to detailed answers I would blank out and wouldn't be able to remember anything. Dr. Phil she's 16 and I'd love for her to be able to go to College but as it is it doesn't look too good. My daughter learned to read on her own at 3 1/2 her vocabulary and comprehension skills are off the charts and she's very artistic. I don't expect perfection ,I just want her to be able to do her best and give her more confidence. Please Dr. Phil can you help my daughter before it's too late and help my 8 year son too before he gets as bad.

I have recently learned about EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique - it helps people with both physical and emotional challenges by literally tapping into the subconscious mind to release negative self-talk and also to insert positive messages. It's very simple and can be done with a certified EFT therapist or by yourself. Fears, anxieties, depression, anger, and lots more can be helped with this technique. Here are a variety of websites where you can get information: www.emofree.com   www.eftbooks.com   www.celebrationhealing.com

Some names to google are Gary Craig, Rebecca Marina, Carol Look, Patricia Carrington, Angela Treat Lyon.

Good luck!!

Try EFT to relieve fears and anxieties

Quote From: chidogs3

I am a 56-year old single woman with Parkinson's disease and a severe phobia of driving, especially on high-speed freeways or interstate highways. Until a few years ago, I thought nothng of driving anywyere, anytime. Approxiomately 4 years ago, coinciding with my diagnosis of Parkinson's disease, I began to experience severe panic when driving; the panic causes disorientation, nausea, difficult breathing, tremors (phobia or parkinson's, or both?), heart pounding, and an irrational and intensely urgent need to STOP, right here, right now, right in the middle of traffic!!!!I am living on disability and have no money for expensive therapy, even if I could drive to therapy. This panic has caused me to miss out on attending family events, and mssing out on life activities. I want to get t his phobia under control, but I don't know how.Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Do yourself a huge favor and look into EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique - on Gary Craig's website  www.emofree.com you can download a free ebook that explains what it's about and how to use it to alleviate fear, stress, anxiety, depression, etc. You may want to start with an EFT practitioner - most of them do sessions over the phone - and then you can continue on your own. There is LOTS of info on the website - how to find a practitioner  - and lots of sucess stories people have written in.

Good luck!
