Quote From: yesyoucanI am glad you got the SAD information and I hope helps. Did you ask doctor about SAD as sounds like from what I read that if he gives you a prescription for that light box or visor it is covered by insurance. What good movies have you seen recenlty? March, April, May, first half June, Second half September, October and November are usually the best months here in Dallas, Texas. Second half of June till second half of September we have red ozone alert days. December and January and sometimes February we have yo yo weather of nice one day and sleet and rain the next so I have to get used to cold all over again each time. For me SAD occurs too due to red ozone alert days which prevents me from going on my daily walks outside. Nice to see you again. SEA

Hi yesyoucan! I've been coming on late at night. Thought I should get on in the morning when everyone else is awake. Although I saw some posts during the night. I must not be the only night owl here.
I think the holidays make my depression worse too. I'm not really close to anyone in my family except my parents. Seems like everyone else in my family doesn't want anything to do with anyone. And seems like when we all do get together, everyone is faking that we like each other. I dunno. I prefer to surround myself with friends instead. But everyone is getting married and moving!
The light box would be a good idea but I don't have insurance. I'm finishing up my bachlors and so I work part-time. (Too hard for me to work full time). And the place I work I would have to work 35 hours or more to get health insurance. ( I work only 15 hours a week). Healthcare really sucks. But I'm sure you know that already. I have to pay for me meds out of pocket. My therapist does give me free samples to help me out till I graduate. That's the best I can do till graduation and have some money.
Good movies I've seen.........Meet the Kranks, Yours, Mine and Ours (got bad reviews but I thought it was hilarious), and Mrs. Congeniality 2. Love comedies! Have you seen anything lately?
Hmmmm Texas.....I would love to move south somewhere. I'm in Nebraska. And quite bored of it! My bf and I would like to move somewhere after we both graduate. Nebraska is nice, but we both are ready to try another place.
Hope you have a good day and chat with you again soon.
<<Hugs>>
