Excellent idea!

Quote From: blue12

I think the idea of a debit card so the dad can see what the money has been spent on is a good idea.
Simple and brilliant.

Poor Nadya, no reality show! :-P

Quote From: city212girl

I understand the compassionate instinct to want to help this woman, but she obviously does not want genuine help for her children. She proves this through her actions, not her transparent words. Any rational person can see through this. She does not have the children's welfare in mind, and obviously has ulterior motives. The ironic thing though, is that the more this woman seeks to become a celebrity, the more public interest increases. Both parties are at fault in this respect, and both may learn something through this story. Dr. Phil, please expose the latest developments in this story, and make up your own mind.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - The founder of a nonprofit nurses' group says

the California mother of octuplets born last month allowed an offer

of free, 24-hour care for the infants and six older children to

lapse.

Linda Conforti-West, founder of Angels in Waiting, said Friday

that Nadya Suleman appeared to lose interest in the group's

proposal when she was told last week that a reality show and a

biweekly press conference on the babies' condition was out of the

question due to their fragile immune systems.

Angels in Waiting's offer, which included a new home, expired

Thursday at midnight.

Suleman's publicist could not be immediately reached for

comment.

Angels in Waiting specializes in care of premature babies.

It's shocking she turned down help from Angels in Waiting!  The gig should be up.  Dr. Phil should stop drinking the "I can help Nadya get ready to bring the babies home" Koolaid and should start working with CPS to have the babies adopted out to responsible parents.

Turning down Angels in Waiting

Quote From: jyaneane

AMEN ....you said....some of these people keep wanting to act as if it were for the KIDS....that we should help! Miss Nadya Suleman WANTS CASH all right and she just proved it today by turning down the "Angels in waiting" offer to help her kids with 24/7 care ...she is a serious manipualtor and totally out of touch. And as far as telling people how many children you can have ...I seriously dont care if she had 50  as long as they were provided for and loved! But this woman is not  at all mentally able to give enough love nor has she earned any money of her own for 9 years!!

Nadya's turning down "Angels in Waiting" absolutely shows beyond a reasonable doubt that she does not have the babies' interest in mind.  Once they told her there's no way they'll be part of a reality show, she competely lost interest.  As "Angels in Waiting" pointed out, the octuplets have impaired immune systems, and it's not in their best interest to have camera crews, etc. in and out of the house.  But Nadya doesn't give a damn about the premies' impaired immune systems.  Just in getting CASH and attention.  She's all too delighted to take CASH on her website.  And how does she possibly think she'll take care of the premies without Angels in Waiting help?  She really thinks she can provide kangeroo care by herself for 8 immune-impaired premies and take care of the other 6?!!  (While her mom relaxes elsewhere so she can be "refreshed"!)

Dr. Phil, why don't you do what's best for the CHILDREN and petition CPS to help them find loving homes with resourceful parents without personality disorders?!!  What's best for the children is not sending cash donations directly to Nadya!

Give me a break!

Nadya was telling a bunch of lies, saying what she knows Dr. Phil wants to hear.  For example that she definitely does not want a reality show.  Who are we going to believe on this, Nadya on Dr. Phil today, or Angels in Waiting?  Angels in Waiting said Nadya kept asking them if she could have a reality show, then lost interest when they said definitely not.  Are we going to believe Nadya that she paid rent or her mom that she didn't?  Like Casey Anthony, when Nadya's lips are moving, she is lying.

Half the Octuplets are home and Nadya has fired Angels in Waiting!

Quote From: teacheratlarge

HERE, HERE!  I totally agree.  Although we are all weary of her and her antics, I hope this time Dr. Phil has finally had enough and puts her feet to the fire, for the sake of the children.  I'm glad he seemingly feels that he must respond in some manner to the homecoming video and other indiscretions.  He inserted himself into her life and situation and now must follow through and advise her.  I guess he or his staff HAS read this msg board and e-mails to the show and sees the public's concern for the children.  I, too, hope it isn't just him and Gloria talking and having photo ops with the children but more in the vein of him convincing Nadya to make changes and take responsibility.  And I, too, want him to make her tell the truth as he would any other guest.  It's his signature style and we've come to expect it of him.

As my opinion of Dr. Phil is changing, I look forward to this show to see and hear his reaction to Nadya's overt disregard for her children's safety.

Has anyone else noticed that no more children have been released into Nadya's care?  HORRAY!  I recall that after the two were released on Tues night, another two would have come home several days later and then two more several days after that.  That no more have come home means that SOMEONE is looking out for the babies and thinks they're better off in the hospital rather than with their mother. We all get that she loves her children but at this point, love has nothing to do with it.  And how many toys do her children need?  She isn't managing her money very well.  I raised four children and know that small children do not play with toys without someone sitting down, interacting with them, and showing them how.  Their attention spans simply aren't long enough.  Toys are no substitute for the bonding attention they need from a parent.

Very very worrisome.  I hope Dr. Phil is looking out for these children.
