Quote From: mam890Eventhough I have read a lot of comments that makes me feel angry, I don't want to attack anyone with my comments because that just ain't my nature. I just want to make clear to all of you who, thanks to the dr. Phill show, now has a complete ironic view of our beloved island of Aruba.

The Aruban culture has very strong morals and values, we are very educated and devoted people to God.
Here in Aruba we DO NOT tolerate any kind of slavery or abuse, much less for children to be used for sexual purposes. I have NEVER EVER heard of any Aruban girls nor foreign girls being used as sex slaves here in Aruba. Even more, I have NEVER heard of any girl who went missing on the island, except this isolated case. That's why the Natalee case struck our community so hard because it was the first time something like this happend and everyone of us was immediatly willing to help in the search. (Amy Bradley went missing on a cruise ship entering the port of Curacao. I feel that the cruise ship should be held responsable here)

I have followed a lot of stories of children being abducted and later being found raped and murdered not only in America but also in other countries. I've cried a lot with these stories and pray for my children and all the children of the world to be save and I thank God these horrific things aren't happening in Aruba. We are living in the 21st century and these things shouldn't happen to our children.
As a women and a mother I unit myself in the grief and sorrow of these mothers and families.

I was also very disturbed by the latest dr. Phil show. Apparently sex slavery is something that is really happening and it's definitly unacceptable.
I was also disturbed by the fact that the show made the audience believe that he footages used of the brothels were really taken here in Aruba, they were NOT! They were obviously taken in some latin country as you could hear them speak spanish.

I urge dr. Phil to be honest and true to himself and to his audience and tell us where these footages has been taped and that you don't have any proof of sex slavery going on here in Aruba. If you, dr. Phil, have any information of any brothels where sex slaves are being held against their will here in Aruba, please post the addresses so I can go and see them for myself. As you know Aruba is very small and it's very easy here to locate any address. I can hardly imagine that sex slavery could go unnoticed in such a small community, that's why I dare to say: Aruba has no sex slavery ! First, it doesn't fit in our culture and second, we wouldn't tolerate it.

These stories are sad enough for us to be here attacking and fighting each other; we are getting nowhere!
None of us Arubans, none of you Americans are entitled to judge one another. The only one who has the power to judge is the One above who we all believe in. Let Him be the judge!
I do believe in God and one of his theachings says: 'Pay good with good, bad with good'.
This is why I don't believe in a boycott. As you Americans are grieving, we are grieving with you not only for the missing girls but also for all the tragedy that has struck you lately such as the 9/11 an Katrina.

I would say let's pray to God for the save return of all the missing children and adults, for strenght to cary on wathever comes in our way and especially for PEACE on earth, after all we share the same planet.
God bless Aruba and God bless America
Dear Arabian Citizen;
Not even GOD, can do his job if it is your own government that is obstructing justice. Don't chastise the messenger that is bringing all this into the light, start chastising the government you and your people put in power. Review the ethics of your judicial system starting with Judge VanD'Slooth, wow you have your hards full.
I am not pretending to think that the U.S. has a perfectly balanced system, but in the end, I trust our government to be in search of the truth it citizen's deserve. For that reason, I pray that our government will take a more active stance in this issue, now that it is apparent that Aruba does have a REAL problem that you and your citizens fail to admit to.
Think of the ALANON theory, you can't cure an alcoholic till he acknowledges he has a drinking problem. You can't then cure the problem of the corruption of the government of Aruba, if their own citizens aren't clamming for TRUTH above ALL.
Th boycott is just begining to work, let's re-inforce it, and eventually it will cause a BIG enough economic drop for the government to step asside and let Justice Pervail.
