Seen that!

Every year we travel through Colorado City.  It is always bizarre to me how these people live.  There houses are unfinished and are two-stories and boxy.  Apparently, the reason they don't finish the houses is so they do not have to pay the additional taxes when a home is inspected and the certificate of occupancy is issued.  Further, most of these individuals have children of the "husband" but his name is not added to the birth certificate so that they are able to obtain the maximum amount of welfare.  Amazing that we can't stop this.  The women look like they are from "Little House on the Prarie".  They where dresses from the wild west.  It saddens me that they convince these children that this is the only way into "God's house".  The adults are the ones that need to be strung up.

Crazy Parents

I watched and watched and couldn't believe what I was hearing from these two "adults".  I am the person who has to try to educate and fix the children from these relationships that walk into my classroom.  What are they doing?  These children should be removed from this household immediately.  How dare you put your children through this.  They didn't ask for your crazy nonsense.  The emotional terrorism drained me just watching it.  Both parents have chosen the behaviors that they are exhibiting.  I hope that when their children are involved in "dysfunctional" relationships that they remember that they are the cause for the future of their children's relationships.  These parents, if that is what you call them, are pathetic.

Teen Trends

I watched this show. I can't even fathom what this boy's mother was thinking. She sold the car and then allowed him to purchase another one. I don't care if he was 21 years old, if that child was living in my home and street racing, he would have to give up the car or MOVE OUT.  I can't even imagine this mother losing her own son due to a street racer.

As I sat there listening to the two boys' nonshalant attitude towards street racing, I was sick. Sick to think that my son, who has been driving 1 year, is a straight "A" student, a loving brother to his 8 and 14 year old brothers, wonderful son, and exceptional friend could be at risk everytime I allow him to leave in his car to go to school or work because some maniac kids need to get an "adrenaline rush" from going 100+ mph.  Those boys', and other kids like them, total disregard for life is appalling.

Parents, step up, stop thinking your kids deserve the latest model cars and all the money they need to make it "there own", What about an older Ford Taurus, etc. Parents, talk to your kids. Money doesn't solve their problems, you can, just by listening.
