the Child lives with the results of the situation

When my child was young - 2 years old - my ex-husband and I had a very distressing divorce. We were in and out of court. There was a lot of abuse that went on towards the child. The court seemed to not understand the trauma that this can inflict upon a child. This was many years ago and there was no Dr. Phil and there was no one to help me. We fought on and off for years. The last time we went to court, my child was 11 years old. The court finally helped me. But - it had taken years.

The worst thing, though, is that all of the abuse and court battles hurt my child SO MUCH. An adult now - all of the problems that we, as parents had - have changed his life.

There is SO much wrong with the court system. The thing is that if anyone of the parents is lying, then they are just setting this child up for a lifetime of trying to get over what is happening in her life now. This is so traumatic and defiling for a little child.

No matter what happens - the child is the one to get hurt. The child will carry the consequences of the abuse with her for her whole life. She will have the task of overcoming these things that have happened to her. They can change her personality and her ability to function.

I would BEG the parents to stop fighting, come to their senses and work this out. If there is sexual abuse - then the child should not be in the father's care. The mother has no other choice but to try and help her child. If the father has in any way touched the child inappropriately - PLEASE stop the fight - and tell the truth. You could be setting your child up for a life time of trying to overcome what has happened.

The child is the one who will get hurt. Believe me, there is no other end.

Please think of the child.

Our country & our system has FLAWS!

I love you - Dr. Phil - but I do not always agree with you. How could you tell Crista that the system is soooo good and she must be in error if she said that the system did not help her. This very thing happened to me 30 years ago. My child is an adult now - but the experiences that he had has shaped him. The system failed us. My son bears the scars.

I am quite sure that Crista is telling the truth about the system failing her and her daughter.

The thing is that anyone could tell that Jeremy was not telling the truth. I'm glad that you did the lie detector test - but we all knew it. I also know that Crista was trying her best to protect her child. Of coarse she encouraged the child to tell what was happening to her. That was the only evidenece that she had. The sad thing is that Crista could not stop Jeremy from seeing his daughter. She would have been in contempt of court and she could have lost custody if she denied him visitation.

I will tell you one thing that I know - Jeremy has hurt and scared this little girl for life. She will always live with the consequences of his behavior. I believe that Jeremy was a victim himself. He was most certainly molested by his father. We can see that by the court document that Dr. Phil showed. Jeremy needs help. He was a victim also.

I can only say - JEREMY TELL THE TRUTH!!!!!!!!!!  Perhaps Jeremy has multiple personality disorder - and he does not recall doing these things to Kaylee. But that only pertains to helping him - it does not matter in relation to Kaylee. The thing is that you must protect the child. She must never be allowed to be alone with Jeremy.

As for the step mother - Crista was not required to hand the child over to her. The visitation orders were for the father - not for the step mother. Crista needs a good lawyer to advise her of her rights. That was the saddest thing that I have ever seen - the step mother calling the police because the child was crying. Why not just give the child some time to adjust and then take her? I know how Crista felt - I had to hand over my child also. This is nonsense. It breaks the mother's heart to send her child into a situation that she knows is less than appropriate.

I think that Crista and her mother Boni - have actually behaved quite admirally.

Thank you Crista for trying to help your daughter. Thank you Boni for supporting your daughter.

HE LIED! HE DID IT! No Qestion about it.

We all know it.

Dr. Phil - please help Crista to protect Kaylee.

what does the 2nd lie detector test mean?

At the end of the 3rd segment - Dr. Phil said that Jeremy failed the first lie detector test - but he passed a second test!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you all miss that?

He passed a second test!!!!!!!!!!!!

What does that mean? Who administered the second test? Did he pass all of the questions?

Why would he fail the first test and pass the second? How can that happen?

Could he be innocent of these charges?

A thorough investigation needs to be done on the mother and the father - RIGHT AWAY!!!!!!!!!! The entire family on both sides needs to be investigated.

Why didnt Dr. Phil talk to Kaylee? What DOES Kaylee really have to say? All we know is what Kaylee says coming home from the visits. The child has fear to go with the father - but honestly - that could have come from the mother.

Why does a 20 year old have 3 children with no husband? What is up with that? Why is she living with her mother? What is happening with Crista's other children?

What is up with Jeremy and his wife? They lie about what they said and did not say - they dont pay their rent - they get evicted - the pregnant step mother seems like she has her share of problems also. Whose baby is she carrying?

What was up with the second tape that Boni wanted Dr Phil to play?

Jeremy COULD BE INNOCENT. He could be innocent.

This whole situation stinks.

Dr. Phil - please - keep us posted. SOON.
