Experience Talking

My first demonic experience happend at the age of 9 after the death of my brother, when I was young everyone told me they were just bad dreams...now at the age of 41 they say I'm just nuts and UNDER medicated.

My personal experiences would blow your mind, but sharing what happened to me is not why I'm writing, I'm writing because through the years I have learned a great deal about this subject and trust me it's not uncommon.

I am in know way going to start preaching but the Bible is filled with examples of not only possession but being tormented by demons...even Christ himself was tomented while hanging on the cross and I can assure you Christ was not possessed he was tormented, he was also tempted in the wilderness. This should be proof enough that you don't have to be an evil person to be possessed or tormented...was Christ evil?

What worked for me:

God does tell us how to cast out demons in HIS name.

I know you have tried this but remember one important thing when you cast them out do you believe that they have to leave or  do you doubt the living God?

Remember that the scriptures do say that demons cannot harm us, they are able to get to certian people though their weakness, for example fear, illness, drugs, and evil...etc. we can be weak in so many ways.

Pray for God to take your weakness away, and again don't doubt that he will, pray for faith...you don't get it unless you ask.

Last word of advice...

Do what I do at night and you "Will Not" have demon attacks, be tormented, demonic dreams.

When I go to bed I put a tape on of the Bible on cassette, demons are terrified of the word of God, when these words are going into your mind the demons will flee from you...just like God says!

If you have demonic problems during the day while you are wide awake, like myself...pray, read scriptures, listen on tape.

Do not feel guilty that the demons choose you, if you think for 1 second that they haven't got to the rest of the world...take another look at the world.

God be with you.

11/01 Is This Normal?

Quote From: kennedyzoo

As a lifelong Christian I would like to make clear that even among Christians there is a huge difference about our beliefs.  I have no problem with the Pagan origin of our many holidays. As has been said Pagan does not equal Satan (in whom as a person or entitiy I DO NOT believe).  Just because a tradition or human practice has history before Christ doesn't mean it is evil.  Families loved each other and celebrated long before Christ and God gave us that gift as part of our humanity.  Christ simply asks us to love God with all our heart and soul and might and to love others as ourselves.

My family's celebration of Christmas does not include many of the commercial aspects and I think Santa is over-rated but worship both at church and in our home during Advent is a high priority - though we attend church all year round as well.  Many more fundamental Christians relish the decorations and engage in the mad shopping extravaganzas that I find offensive.   I think the simple celebration of solctice has more spiritual meaning than much of the American Christmas.

Like Dr. Phil said, people can make any holiday what they would like it to be.  God does not frown on human celebration if it is done with love.

Jeremiah Chapter 10

Gods point of view of the christmas tree...

Just a few lines for you...

Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of a workman with an axe.

They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers that it not move. etc

BlOW THE DUST OFF YOUR BIBLE

I just don't understand the comments on the message board regarding the topic of Christmas being a Pagan Holiday.

With so many claiming to be Christians the only thing I keep reading Is I THINK. THIS & I THINK THAT! What about what Gods thinks?

It is so easy to prove that Christmas, and Easter for that matter are flat out Pagan and unexceptable in the eye's of God...What part of Thou Shalt Not don't we understand?

Everyone agree's that Christmas was without a doubt considered pagan many years ago and everyone understands that The Orgin of Christmas did come out of paganism, but hey that was along time ago, it's ok now. (Including Dr. Phil's comment during the show)

What's up with that, how can we take something God called an abomination and turn it around and use it in the worship of Jesus Christ...(READ MALACHI 3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not.) God is the same yesterday, today, and forever...Paganism has always and will always be an abomination, and we have the gall to say too bad God, I'm going to worship you anyway I choose, that's just tough if you don't approve.

It's very easy to prove when Christ was born, we can pin point it down to at least a matter of weeks. Christ was born 6 months after his cousin John the Babtist, the scriptures make that very clear. Christ had to be born right around The Feast of Trumpets, interesting enough the scrpitures state that Christ will return or set foot on the Mount of Olives on the Feast of Trumpets which means The Coming of Christ, makes since that he could have been born on the same day? This would be September or October in our time

I could go on and on and prove to you that it is unexcetpable to celebrate Christmas...as far as God is concerned that is.

God does say prove everything according to my holy scriptures. I have studied this for over 30 years, if you would like to take the time to prove this topic I found one very short booklet that clearly lay's it all out.

You can go to the website, pull up the link and read it that way or order the book, it's free of charge.

I have read many different books, but this was by far the best one I have come across.

Go to: www.Thercg.org or The Restored Church of God... in the left column click on booklets or it might say booklets and literature, I can't remember. Anyway after that click on the booklet titled "The Origin Of Christmas" the link will pop up from there.

If you believe in God, I will be very supprised if you continue to celebrate Christmas after reading this book. This is not a book a some mans opinion about Christmas, this will take you through every scripture...Gods Words not Mans Words.

Interesting Scripture about the Christmas Tree - Jeremiah Chapter 10

Shellita

Quote From: saemae

Shellita, I found it interesting how you said us Christians would be judged for celebrating Christmas.  Ever read a little book called the Bible?

"Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then thou shalt see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

THAT, my dear, is in the book of Matthew.  I'm not half as worried about the judgement I face because I bought my kid a Barbie this year than the judgement YOU face for judging me.  You are just a cheapskate that used a bunch of propoganda websites to back your frugal nature.  The websites you are looking on are ALSO the ones that showed a bunch of kids in a blurry photo worshipping Satan because they read Harry Potter, and that was proven to be a HOAX provided to these "well-meaning Christians" BY Harry Potter fans to make zealot Christians look stupid because they thought Harry Potter was a Satanist guidebook.

So, pardon me if I'm not a jerk like you.  I'll let my kids have the magic of Christmas for a little while longer.  I'll let my kids dress as princesses and trick or treat in our neighborhoods.  I'll let the kids look for plastic eggs in my mother's front yard.  I'll give my husband a big box of chocolates in a cardboard box.  And I WON'T worry about you being a world-class hypocrite by slamming your relatives and their beliefs, all the while waiting for your handout.  You are a real piece of work.

The little thing called the Bible also says to tell my people their sins...

I'm grateful that someone like Shellita informed me about Christmas and Easter so that I was able to go and prove for myself, beyond a shadow of a doubt that Christmas was a pagan holiday.

The little thing called the Bible also commands us to prove everything according to Gods word. Christmas is mentioned in great detail throughout the Bible, I have researched this for many years now.

I don't believe Shellita was judging anyone, it was more like discernment, something we all use everyday in our life.

I'm sorry if I have offended you in anyway, that truley was not my intention.

If by some chance your interested in researching Christmas I did come across a book that walks you through every scripture in the Bible that will leave you understanding, without a doubt that this holiday is in no way acceptable in Gods eye's. (The Origin of Christmas by David C. Pack) & (The Origin of Easter) I ordered my copy from (Thercg.org ) it's free of charge.

We will all have to stand before Christ some day, Christmas may not seem like a very big deal but if you actually research it with the Bible Christmas is something I would never have the guts to take part in again.

You mentioned the book of Matthew...Matt Chapter 24 and Rev 12 is something you should read. I want to aviod what's coming on this earth and teach my kids to do the same. Christmas and Easter are worse than you think...God Hates It's!

Holy Days

Quote From: osthompson3

Finally, the truth is out! My family has done extensive research on the holidays we used to celebrate, and Shelita's right-on-point with her discoveries! I'm proud she didn't compromise and back-down from her belief that's been revealed and instilled in her.
When do we get to a point in our lives when we should ask ourselves this very revealing and liberating question, "why do we do what we do?"
It's amazing how we can confess our belief in the Almighty and His Son, our Messiah, but yet we follow the traditions of men, which makes His Word of no effect (Matthew 15:6-9).
The Holidays (originally Holy or Set-Apart Days) we were commanded to keep, forever, are The Feast of Unleavened Bread (Passover included), Feast of Weeks (Pentacost), and The Feast of Tabernacle (Day of Atonement included), which is around Sept-Oct, the time our Messiah was born...not December 25th. These (3) Holidays and the Sabbath are to be observed by those who believe (Deutronomy 16:16).
Don't take our word for it; look-it-up in any encyclopedia, history book, dictionary, or the web...knowledge is power and the knowledge of the truth will set you free!

You are the first person I have come across on the message board that mentioned the Holy Days...Have you ever read any of HWA's literature, I learned about the Holy Days through him many years ago?

After you log in, there's a page of all of the different boards you can go to.  On the bottom right hand corner of the page is the "News and Current Events" board (I think that's what it says LOL) and you just click on that and I think the "Debating among different religious beliefs" is on the second or third page.

You should check it out.  It's a diverse board.  A lot of beliefs on that board.

Take care. =)

Elffie

Hope to see you there...

Debt

Quote From: apljack

I swear everytime I almost get caught up, either my wife or one (or more) of the kids get hit with  some major medical thing.  I could get 20 credit cards and spend like a drunken sailor and there are a thousand places offering help.  But the only people I hear from are collection agencies because I couldn't pay the bill on the terms they wanted and now they are comin after me.  I never asked for this debt and actually live in a style that is anything but grand.  I am just an average guy wanting to tread water but I am afraid the tide is gonna win.  any Ideas?

I don't have time at the moment to go into great detail but I do want to run this one thing by you. You can apply for a Charity Write Off with any medical bills, this will not cost you a penny and it's very easy to do. With a Charity Write Off you can have all your medical bills written off, this will not damage your credit at all.

If you would like more information on how to Apply for a Charity Write Off or information on how to get your Credit Card Debt cut almost in half please let me know, I worked in debt elimintion for years...now I help people save their homes from Foreclosure but I can still point you in the right direction with your credit situation.
