My experience...

Demons and evil forces do exist! I have to testify that I have had several first hand encounters with them in the past. I would have many strange phenomenon occur in my house. Lights would turn on by themselves, the oven alarm would go off by itself, one time the light bulb in a light fixture popped out by itself and flung to the floor. I used to dabble in the occult when I was a teenager, but after I became a Christian I threw all that stuff out the door.

The worse night I can remember occurred just a few years ago when I was home alone at night. In the middle of the night I woke up in ABSOLUTE TERROR. I felt that there was an evil presence in the house and at the same time I felt like my life was in danger. The best analogy would be the feeling of absolute terror coupled with the fear that I'm in danger and am about to be murdered. As one previous poster had said, a feeling of "overwhelming sense of doom". About a minute or so after I had waken up feeling this evil presence and terror, I had heard the knob on the bathroom tub fall down, the toilet seat fell down, and the door to the bathroom banged a few times. Since I couldn't pray out loud I had prayed in my mind that God would put a hedge around my home and cast the evil spirit out. Sure enough after a while of continuous prayer I felt a sense of peace. However, right before I was about to fall asleep again, the phone rang. (I never get crank calls in the middle of the night) I had picked up the phone but no one was on the other line. (I feel that this was an indication that the spirit was out of the house, yet trying to harass me through some one else's phone) After this incident occurred and I prayed very hard for God's hand of protection I have never been bothered again.

There were signs that lead up to the attack like an increase in paranormal activity my family and I had witnessed within the house. But unfortunately we ignored those signs. A couple of times I used to wake up in terror feeling an evil presense and I used to dismiss them as being bad dreams... However, after this one single event happened which was coupled with physical disturbances within the house, I feel that everything in the past that occurred were really warning signs.

Nowdays I have never had a single incident occur. I never wake up out of sleep in terror and there are no more physical disturbances that occur within the house.

For those who are experiencing similiar problems or believe that you are cursed, the solution is a matter of the spirit. You need to dedicate yourself fully under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. You also need to fully REPENT of whatever you are doing that may be causing your disturbances. If you are involved in the occultic realm you need to get rid of all types of occultic objects in your house (ie, ouija boards, tarot cards, runes... etc).   Do not consult with psychics, tarot card readers or anyone that has anything to do with the occult realm.

You need to continue seeking after the Lord and continue to pray for deliverance. At the same time it would be wise to find a well balanced Bible believing church and contact the pastor and elders to let them know of your situation. Have them pray over you. Unfortunately there is no alternative solution. Reading the Bible and displaying crosses in your home aren't going to work unless you have a willing spirit that desires to truly walk with Jesus Christ. The goal of these demons is to keep you under their control and bondage and nothing is going to work unless the attitude of your heart and spirit changes.

Unfortunately demons do exist whether or not you believe in them.

Hell is real

Quote From: elffie

Countrycow, I am sure that you are a very sweet lady and you worry about people too much.  I have read some of your posts and it seems that you are scared of anyone or anything that you really don't know anything about.  Now, I am not trying to make you made either, but it sounds that you are scared of things and people that are different from you.  All of your posts talks about the devil and people going to hell, and I don't think that helps anyone for you to be so negative.  You seem to know a lot about him.  You seem to be a god fearing (and devil fearing) woman, and I'm sure that you live your life the way you think you are supposed to.  Try to understand that not all people think the same as you.  Now, please, I'm sure the devil has no one and you can relaxe, how about lightening up your posts a little.  Frankly, they all sound scary.  Untrue, but scary.  So please, have a more opend mind about some things and stop worrying so much.

Countrycow has a very good point. Unless you repent and turn from your sins you will

perish in hell and then you will see true evil.   I apologize for turning this into a

religious discussion, however, I just thought I had to make a comment here.
I have studied the scriptures for a very long time now and one thing I can assure you

all is that the Bible is true and it is the word of God.  For those that don't agree I

can come to a solid conclusion about you.

1. You are not truly seeking after God.
2. You have not read the Bible *and/or* understood it.

I have studied the scriptures very carefully and am 100% convinced that the writings

are divine in origin.  This is the very basis for my faith in God and why I believe God

exists, otherwise I would be an athiest today.  I know the scriptures like the back of

my hand and when you say the scriptures are not true you do not know what you say.

Yes there is payment to be made for sin and yes hell/eternal damnation is a reality

unless you come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.  I know that hell and damnation

sound so negative and may seem like a mythical legend but it's an unfortunate reality.
It is a place of utter torment and everlasting destruction where the devil and his

demons will also dwell for eternity.  It is a cursed place of no mercy, no hope, no

salvation and no rest day or night.  Those that perish there will be utterly forsaken

forever.  And I'm willing to make a bet that those who perish in hell would have wished

they had listened to all those "religious nuts" when they were walking on the earth.

Countrycow and like many other "religious people" warn you about this place so that you

won't have to go there.  God uses us to knock on the door of your hearts and to draw

you to Him.  God loves us and cares for us and this is why He sent Jesus to die for us.
He provides the gospel as a means to escape true justice, the wrath of a Holy Righteous

God.   You have time while you are still alive to repent and turn away from your sins

and come to Jesus Christ.  For every single sin from that small white lie to the mass

murder of thousands, there is payment that is due and it will be paid to the very last

penny when God balances the books of justice on Judgment Day.

We know and understand that this place of hell exists and it is the ultimate

neverending curse. You may think all this is a false myth but I guarantee you that you

will understand some day.

01/05 "Am I Cursed?"

Hello ellfie, Of course everyone has their own beliefs, religions, and I'm not here to

disrespect your beliefs or anyone elses.  If you want to believe in whatever religion,

go ahead.

I'm just testifying that it is *impossible* for the Bible to be false or mythical.  I

have carefully studied and analyzed the scriptures over and over again and can come to

no other conclusion. The Bible is an extremely fascinating and deep book.

@elffie If people have warned you about hell you should take them very seriously before

lightly brushing them off.   You said you were not sure where people go when they die.

Let's say that CountryCow and I are right.  Wouldn't it be better to investigate

whether or not its the truth now than before it's too late?  After all if we are

right... then hell is a very serious penalty.

@windydaze People may interpret the scriptures wrong but that is because they do not know how to study it.  In order to come to correct interpretation you need to compare

scripture with scripture.  Many people have taken versus out of their appropriate

context and formed entirely new doctrines which are absolutely foreign to the entire

teaching of Biblical truth.  The Bible is like a puzzle and when you begin to piece all

the parts together you begin to see the big picture.  Most of the scriptures are very

direct and straight forward so it is very hard to misinterpret something.
Doctrines that are debatable within Christian circles are areas that are not critical

to our understanding of God.  Something like Eschatology (the study of the end times)

is highly debatable and the scriptures can sometimes be fuzzy with regard to these

subjects.  But when it comes to heaven/hell, Christ/devil and salvation these are not

debatable since the Bible clearly teaches about them and their existence.

I'm telling you guys that there is zero chance the scriptures originated from a human

mind and therefore zero chance it is some fake legend.  I am 100% positive it was

penned down by non other than God Himself.
