Welcome to the board.  Sorry it's taken so long for anyone to reply to you.  I guess we've all been busy with other things.  It's been a while since I've been here and even longer since I posted a message.

Anyway, my name is Ruth and I live in Brissie too.  On the northside.  I have three kids with another one on the way.  My eldest is in Year 2 at school, the next starts Prep next year and my youngest is not quite 2 years old.   I've been married 10 years this October.  I find that incredible.  It really doesn't seem like that long.  I'm 39 years old and a stay at home mum. 

That's about all I can think of to tell you for now.  I'm sure I'll think of something else once I post this message.  If so, then it can wait til next time.

I just stopped by to say hello to everyone.  I think of you all often.  But I get wrapped up in my own life that I don't make the time to leave any posts.  Today I thought I would.

Just a little update for those who remember me.  Nicholas will be 2 in August.  How scary is that?!!  It just seems like yesterday that he was turning 1.  My eldest is getting better at school.  My daughter starts the whole school experience next year, she will be 5 in March.

Oh, one more thing.  I'm pregnant again.  It's due around the end of September, but with my pregnancy history(the others were all a week or so late) it will more likely be the beginning of October.  But, you never know, this one could buck the trend.  It certainly feels smaller than Nicholas was. Who knows?  Every pregnancy is different, so we'll see. 

I've noticed the temp.  up there in the States.   I hope you're taking care of yourselves properly and drinking plenty of water.   It's very important to stay hydrated.

Hi there SEA,

I had another girl.  We've named her Rhiannon Isabella.  She weighed 8lb 7.5oz.  She was the smallest of all my babies.  The delivery went well with no complications.  She was born on the 8th of October, which is my mother's birthday as well.  She's absolutely a delight.

We now have two boys and two girls.  I think my family's complete, but I'm not going to use contraception so if there are any more on the horizon, then so be it.  I'm 39 years old and I feel my chances of becoming pregnant again are very slim.  But then, only time will tell. 

For the moment, I'm still a happy SAHM.  I'm just very tired.  I'm really over the late night feedings.  I'd much rather spend that time sleeping.  Can you tell me what it feels like to sleep the whole night through? Lolz.  My eldest is improving at his school work, which is great news.  My eldest daughter, Damia, starts school next year, which is exciting in a scary sort of way.  They grow up so quickly.  Even Nicholas has grown.  He's definitely not a baby any more.  He's such a little boy.  He changes so much from day to day, it's hard to keep up.  He absolutely adores his little sister, too.  It's so cute when he wants to give her a cuddle or a bedtime kiss.  Sometimes he can't keep his little hands off her.  He's so gentle, though.

That's it for now.  Rhiannon has just woken up, so I'd better go and get her before she screams the house down.  By the way, it's pronounced ree-an-non, if you weren't sure.

Thank you to those who've wished us well.  It's most appreciated.  Rhiannon is doing well.  She's sleeping peacefully at the moment.  Yay!  It gives me a chance to catch with everyone.

I hope you're doing well.  I don't get on this board very much, and when I do I don't post.  Just read.  I don't feel I have anything of any value to add to the conversations here.  It sounds silly I know, but that's how I feel.

I do get lonely occasionally.  The other mums at my sons school tend to ignore me and I don't know why.  I haven't changed.  I was never rude to them or spoke about them behind their backs and yet they don't want anything to do with me.  Oh well.  I try not to let it bother me, but there are times when I sit and just cry.

I think I'll stop now, or I'll be crying as I sit here.  Take care, everybody.  Thanks again for the good wishes.  We are progressing nicely.  Bye from Australia.
