I saw the show on 2/12 and I must say you were awesome.  I agreed with you completely.  I think you and John were by far the most functional out of the three couples.  Atleast the two of you didn't scream and yell like Tara andScott, I came close to changing the channel because of them.  I know they are dealing with serious issues as well, but there are more productive ways to deal with things.

It takes an enormous amount of guts to go on public television and do what you did, so if anyone has a problem with it they can STICK IT!  As far as I'm concerned you don't owe an explanation to anyone, especially on these boards.

I am so angry with myself, I missed todays show "Adoption Scams Part 2."  I am just curious to know if Melissa was ever WOMAN ENOUGH to face Marie and Jen?  She is a coward if I ever saw one.  She was BIG and tough as long as the ball was in her court but when it came down to facing them she turned chicken.  I hope she reads this too.  Melissa, if you're going to be big and tough be big enough to own up to your actions and face EVERYONE YOU KNOW you hurt.  YOU OWE THEM ATLEAST THAT MUCH!

Are you sure she fabricate having a son of her own too?  Oh my gosh, I totally agree with your theory. 

Oh dear, did I hit another nerve?  I don't really care whether she's gay or not but the fact that she promised Marie, Jen and Crissy babies that she knew never existed, then made it worse by telling one of the ladies that her baby died, makes her xxxx in my book.  Whoever wants to can agree or disagree; it doen't matter to me.  All I would like to know is what gives her the right to crush so many womens dreams of having children?  Yes, people usually adopt because they want to but there are alot of cases where women can never bear their own children, so they adopt.  It saddens me to think that there are people in this world who are selfish enough to never consider other peoples feelings.

I am so proud of you, first for having the courage to come forward about the abuse.  It can't be easy to admitt something like that and put yourself in the public eye to be ridiculed. Then, to be willing to accept critism. You truly are a remarkable woman and mother.  It took alot of guts to do what you did.  I saw a huge change in you and your kids. 

As humans, we all make mistakes but God never intended for us to be eternally condemned for it.  That is why He sent his one and only Son to the cross-so that we might be forgiven.  You are forgiven! 

I think you will be a positive example for thousands of women.  This topic of discussion has left a gigantic impression on all of our hearts and won't be soon forgotten.  Not by me anyway.  I wish you all the best!

I hope you were able to change the posters opinion of you that appeared on the show.  You certainly changed mine and I thank you.  I was asked to come on  the show as well and wanted to so bad but couldn't because I had to keep my nephews that day.   I hope you and your family had a wonderful time at Disneyland.  You deserved it!

First and formost, Karen deserves that trip as much as anyone.  Did you conveniently forget that she has made changes in her life too?  She came forward and admitted what she was doing to her kids and got help for it.  SO, YES DOES DESERVE THE TRIP TO DISNEY JUST AS MUCH AS HER KIDS DO.  Why is it so hard for people to give her credit for her

accomplishments?  What else does she have to do to redeem herself to the message board posters?  It's not like she went back home and immediately started pounding on them again.  No, she has changed her discipline methods and it shows in her kids.

You are correct about one thing.  It is going to take time to gain her kids trust if she hasn't already.  But her mistakes are now in the past so let  them stay there.  Give her some positive insenitive for moving in the right direction instead of saying she doesn't deserve to be a mom.  In my opinion ones who don't seek help and who keep beating their children because they don't think they have a problem are the ones who don't deserve to be mothers.  KAREN, YOU ROCK! I AM SO PROUD OF YOU! 

I'm sorry to tell you but Dr. Phil doesn't just hand out all-inclusive honeymoons to all of his posters.  What makes you think you derserve a trip just because Karen got one?  Are we jealous?
