Roger wants a divorce

It's pretty clear what he wants, why does she put up with this nonsense?

MY HEART WENT OUT TO THIS FATHER AND I APPLAUDE HIM FOR STANDING HIS GROUND. BEING A PERSON WITH A CHECKERED PAST MYSELF I FOUND IT IGNORANT TO THINK THAT THIS WOULD HOLD HIM BACK. HIS HEART IS WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE TO RAISE A CHILD.  I AM RAISING 2 WONDERFUL CHILDREN AND THEY ARE WHAT MADE MY CURVY DECISIONS STRAIGHT! I BELIEVE IN THIS FATHER AND CAN SEE HIS GENUINE HEART. NOW THE MOTHER, SHE MADE ME SICK! SHE HAS HAD HER CAK AND NOW GETS THE ICING TOO! SHE OPENED HER LEGS, ENJOYED THE PLEASURE, HAD THE BABY AND SLEEP THRU THE NIGHT?? WHAT A LOSER TO BE CALLED A WOMAN IS  A DISGRACE TO US MOTHERS WHO OWN THE NAME!! WHATEVER** ROCK ON TO THE FATHER AND I HOPE HE WINS THAT LITTLE GIRL!
The guy wants his mother to raise the child. He wants possession, but when it comes down to parenting, well, he'll just leave it to his mom. Heaping abuse on the mother by your filthy description of how that child was created really makes me wonder about what kind of world you live in. Children are not a punishment for pre-marital sex.

But the dad in this case, could have, if he wanted, discovered this law long before the adoption. An open adoption would have given the dad and the grandmother reasonable visitation, but somehow his behavior closed that door.

Frankly, the child is best away from both of those families.

OK, so now what's the answer to this problem?  Maybe the father and his mother could have visitation rights from the adoptive parents?  But then, would he have to pay child support to the adoptive parents?  Any other ideas as to what they should do now?
An open adoption provides for such visitation, and it usually works if both biological parents are comfortable with an adoption. But clearly, Bryce wants full custody. However, there is no financial burden because the adoptive parents are the parents. Unless, Bryce wins and they lose custody.

Teaching children to hit

When you hit children, you teach them to deal with their problems by hitting. Abuse is learned behavior. Somehow, in our family we have managed to avoid behavior problems, drug and alcohol abuse, failing grades, or any number of social issues without parents falling back on physical abuse. Why not just take those kids away and give them to someone who really wants them? Seems to me that we need a license to drive a car but we let any fool raise a child.
