I too have been cheated on and treated badly. I may have thought about revenge when I was in junior high but not as an adult. Revenge is only for those that lack the self-confidence to get up, dust yourself off, and keep walking forward.
The guests on the show today were very interesting.
The beautiful young girl that seeks revenge on her older ex was heart wrenching. She is just a child and handled the hurtful situation the only way she knew how. Does that make it right? NO. The older guy was obviously a fun, nice guy to be around. Not to mention he was very good looking and probably a quest for this young girl(even though she stated to him that she could have any man). I don't think he intentionally meant to hurt her. I think his ego and good times just got away from him. In 10 years, this beautiful girl will be a beautiful more mature women and will look back on this situation and ask herself,"What was I thinking?". To the older, nice, fun, goodlooking man-find someone closer to your age and maturity level so that you don't find yourself back on the Dr. Phil Show!
The Tasha and Todd issue is different entirely. Tasha seems to be a smart and confident woman. If this is true, why would she take part in childish business ventures such as her web-site? I think the answer is simply that she is not as self-confident as she portrays herself to be. She must have been hurt in her life and seeks pleasure in dragging other women down with her in the pit of misery that wanting revenge holds you in. I hope that Tasha sees the destructiveness of this redicules web-site before someone is really harmed because of comments posted there. If women are so desperate to tell the world about their spoiled love affairs, why don't they put their own names and photos instead of the men's? That way they could form a big support group called , "I Need To Get A Life".
Todd should not have had to respond to such trash on the internet, nor should he have to clear his reputation with clients. I think it would have been just as childish of him to go to the web-site and say, "Oh No, this is not true, she's lying on me" as it was childish of the woman to post this trash to begin with. I hope he wins this lawsuit and puts a stop to future cases of this. Again, if women or men are so depressed or angry about a relationship gone wrong, they should seek professional help. If posting your pitiful situation on the web makes you feel better , do it without naming names. As the old saying goes, "What comes around goes around!" Leave the getting even up to God. WE ALL HAVE TO ANSWER FOR OUR DEEDS SOMEDAY!
