Great disservice

Quote From: purplepenny

My husband's Aunt is an "unschooler"...her children are sharply behind when it comes to every subject...I personally find it to be a very irresponsible thing to do. Our society requires education and society benefits from it.  Not everything is learned as a side effect of living. That's ridiculous.
Your Aunt is doing her children a great disservice by letting them grow up stupid.  What are they going to do when they grow up and are fighting for a job in the workplace??  I agree with you...your Aunt is VERY irresponsible.

Ask your doctor

Quote From: f192345000

hey Im 16yrs old and  I live in sand springs oklahoma and I wouldnt say Im over weight but I need to loose some weight and I was wondering if any of you guys have any suggestions for me like exercising and what I can do if you do email me at foreverpink4ubabe@yahoo.com
Don't ask the general public for health advice---you'll get a lot of unsafe and bad advice.  Go see your doctor or other health care professional.  It's their JOB to give you sound medical advice, not fad diets or other unsafe ways to lose the weight!  Always be careful with your health.

What a grump!

How can you be so hard and callous during the holidays??  I know the holidays can be stressful, but the true spirit of Christmas is NOT about the decorations and presents.  Val seems to be a VERY selfish person who has ruined Christmas for her husband and their 11 children.  What a horrible example of the holiday spirit!  As a mother, she should be ashamed.  I'm surprised she still has a husband, too.

Kudos to Dr. Phil and Robin

There are so many children out there who will not receive anything for Christmas.  The fact that Dr. Phil and Robin and their family are working with Toys for Tots is tremendous.  Every child deserves at least 1 toy this Christmas.  Thank you Dr. Phil!

This year we donated $300 worth of clothes and toiletries to a local domestic violence center and $150 worth of cat food, toys, treats, and litter to our local animal shelter.  Unfortunately we have no more money with which to donate, but we hope that Dr. Phil raises a ton of toys for the less fortunate children.
