A Pedophile is pedophile whether male or female

I don't feel sorry for any of these women. They are pedophiles no matter how people try to pretty it up.  The double standards being shown are outrageous! Would we say we feel sorry for a man who has had sex with a 15 year old female student??? I think not!  To the idiots on this board trying to blame the students because they don't look their age or their bodies are developed, your statements sound like statements a  pedophile would make. I was a fully developed female when I was in High School. I had 34D breasts, 26 inch waist, and 36 inch hips and a pretty face. I was often hit on by adult men.   However, I certainly was not mentally mature enough or ready for sex with someone my age, let alone mentally mature for sex with an adult.  I saw the adult males who were hitting on me as creepy old men even though they may have been in their 20's or 30's. Parents are sending their children to school to get an education. They are not sending their kids to school hoping that they be molested by their teachers.

I also can't help but wonder if the race of these females in addition to their looks is playing a part in this use of a double standard in judging them.  I wonder if it is hard for Americans to see a female, especially a white pretty female, who many consider to be the standard of beauty, as a predator.  The reason I say this is because I read several articles just recently on CNN and USA today reporting on how when white females are missing in our country, they receive major news coverage.  However, when minority females are missing they receive very little if any coverage at all. This is why I am questioning if race may also be a subconscious factor in this double standard.

We need to stop looking at these women as women and see them for what they are. They are pedophiles, plain and simple just as the males who commit the same acts. They don't need our protection. The children are the ones who need our protection.

10/19 Teacher Caught in the Act

Quote From: love23

Everyone is saying, "it's against the law! These women are rapists, sexual offenders, child abusers!" What about the fact that our gov't has not set a "national legal age" regarding statutory (sp) rape! I am a 24 year old woman with two masters degrees and am head over heels in love with a sixteen year old young man. In my state it is legal  once a person is fifteen. He is on time to graduate, ready for college and I have a very successful career myslef. I am not sick. I am in love with the only person who has ever understood me, and much more. I am very close with his family, as he is with mine. We have future plans for marriage and children. maybe we met eachother to young- by your standards. Who are you too judge. You can not generalize these type of situations. Some women/men who do this or have these types of relationships, yes, are abusers and users, but you must understande, all are not!!!! I know, better than any of you that I will be with my man until the day we die and beyond. Does this make me a bad person? Does it not because where I live it is legal?
I really doubt you are in love. You are in lust. There is no way a 16 year old child (yes, child, he is not a young man). We all know that a 16 year old is not capable of handling adult issues. I and my friends were 16 and could never handle  issues or situations  the way a mature adult would handle them. You certainly have issues if  you believe a 16 years old can be on the same mental level as an 24 year old adult.

10/19 Teacher Caught in the Act

"NO, AND IF YOU THINK DIFFERENTLY ON THAT ONE YOU NEED HELP."

Somehow I think if I contacted a health professional and told him I disagreed with you and asked for some help because of it he'd tell me that I do NOT need help...LOL

We have to draw a line somewhere don't we? 18 is a good line and there is science to back up that that is a good line.
I agree totally.

You think this boy took advantage of his teacher?
No, I agree that he did not and the the teacher is certainly at fault here and should be prosecuted.

A Pedophile or Sexual Predator - Still WRONG

Quote From: catwoman777

A pedophile is an adult who is sexually attracted to pre-pubescent children.  These woman are not pedophiles.  They are sexually attracted to people who are physically sexually mature.  Even though they have no business acting on their attraction they are not pedophiles.

I know what a pedophile is have heard it over and over again  in my  Psychology class. So what? Whatever we want to call them, they are still criminals. It is still wrong.

Mental maturity and body maturity don't go hand in hand

Quote From: beth227

I also was very physically mature in high school just like you.  However, you say that you were nowhere close to ready for sex.  That is fine for you, but not everyone is like you.  There are different maturity levels for any age group.  If it was your decision not to have sex in high school because you were not ready, that was a good decision for you.  However, I do not think that you should assume that other people might not be ready for sex just because you were not.  We are not talking about grade school age children.  We are talking about young adults who should be capable of making their own decisions.  Most parents are always on their children to act more like adults, but when they do people think someone should go to jail.  It's stupid!!!

LOL! I won't take my time to reason with a fool.  I work with many teens and believe me, they are not mature.

10/19 Teacher Caught in the Act

Quote From: rissa140

What you said is what I was trying to make a point about in my other post..... You're telling that woman that she's in lust, not love but the TRUTH is that you, nor anyone else, REALLY KNOW how she & this young man (& yes, I said young man, if he's old enough to drive & work then he's NOT a child!) feel! NOBODY can know for SURE how other people feel, only THEY know what they feel & if they really feel they're in love than who are you, I or anyone else to say otherwise? Also, who are you, I or anyone else to decide whether someone of a certain age is capable of handling a certain situation/issue or not? That's another thing that you (generally speaking) can't decide for someone else. No one person handles something the EXACT same way as someone else. So I don't think it's fair to say that someone who's 16 isn't capable of handling whatever situation they're in just because of they're age. Anyway, if in another month, year or even day, this woman & this young man decide that they're not in love, then fine, that's on them but either way, they're both consenting to the relationship & it shouldnt be anyone else's business.

You and I don't have to decide. Uh, the law says it's illegal.  I work with  many teens and I have never heard any one of them yet say that they didn't regret having sex at an early age or that say that they were mature enough to handle it. My adult friends who had sex early also say that they regret it and weren't ready.

Teacher caught in the act

Quote From: sscnwc1

It is a KNOWN fact that if a man is accused of touching a female student.  he will be arrested without question.  in addition he will have to await arraignment before resting his head on his own bedroom pillow again.  an the minute the DNA comes back that says he fathered that teen girls child.  he is looking at 15-25 behind bars.  now in OHIO where a female teachers ADMITS to having sex with a student, is questioned.  she confirms that she's prego with that students child.  there is a court date, where the case is suspended, pending the birth of her baby.  after the DNA comes back that this 14 yr old BOY fathered her child, she gets community control and a fine.  what the heck?  i feel the courts should punish the crime, not the gender of the suspect in question.  no one is too pretty, too sexy or to rich to serve the time for the crime.  if you did it, you should pay... no questions asked.  an if DNA proves it, there should not even be another court date needed!
So true. We need to stop with the double standards. It is not just.

Why did Christie's sister leave her husband

Christie seems very angry but  there is something  also troubling me with Christie's sister's story too. Why would she leave her husband if she did not for have some small reason also believe her husband was looking at child porn? Somethings not adding up.

I also agree

Quote From: kimberb

I do agree that does happen.  However, what she saw made her leave her husband for 6 weeks.  I doubt this could be regular mainstream porn!!!

Kimberb, that is what disturbed me when Stacy said she left her husband. I was thinking, Okay, she left him for 6 weeks because he was looking a regular porn?  It just doesn't  quite sound right. I'm suspicious now.  Even if she was only going on what her sister, Christie, told her about the pornography, something had to have transpired to the extent to where she would even believe that he was looking a child pornorgraphy and leave him for 6 weeks. Something just doesn't add up.
