Generation RX

We as parents, teachers, doctors, lawyers, law enformencent and so on have to find a way to keep these drugs out of the schools and out of the hands of our kids.  IM truly truly scared of this wave of drug use.  It seems like everytime we turn around there is something new out there and we as parents hear about it after 1000 of kids have been using or been killed by this.  This is not a one person fight we cant find wars with one person and this is an all out drug war against our kids.  We need to find a solution.   Where do we start, what can we do say?  Please Lord help us find the answers to these questions so we can keep our chilidren safe.  Im sorry I am venting and each kid in this world deserve a life without drugs etc.  Our kids deserve to be kids for as long as possible.  I have a child and I had no idea this kind of drug abuse has been around for so long.  I wonder what its going to be like when she is older.  I want to find answers now and not when she is hurting or running with the wrong crowd or when its too late......

Dr.  Phil this was a great wake up story for a lot of parents.  Thank you.....

To Stephen's Mom

Quote From: colleenonline

As someone who had the opportunity to watch Christine expose herself to the world that day and also had the privilege to meet and speak with her after the show, I think she should be applauded.   I begged my son to meet with Dr. Phil because I so desperately wanted to save him from himself before it was too late.  Dana had her son physically dragged to the show because she was so desperate to save him.  But Christine had to walk this path alone.   Christine's parents were too ashamed to even come with her.  That little girl had to do this all on her own.  She had to endure this without her parents' love and support and she did it because she is so desperate to get help and change her life.   She begged for help that day because she felt it was her last hope.

I hope that everyone will keep her in their prayers.  And I hope that Dr. Phil will follow up with her and help her keep her life on track.  She is a beautiful girl and I wish her the best!

How is Stephen doiing?  I hope since the show he is doing much better and a better question is how are you doing?  A single mother of 3, I stand up an applaud you.  I have one child and I dont see how people do it with more than one.  She is the best kid in the world, but the world is what I worry about.  What will it be like when she gets older, did I raise her right, did I teach her right from wrong, but it sounds like in this world things like this dont matter some how they get mixed up into drugs somehow and we do not know how, why or even when....

Please let us know how you and your family are doing.

What are...........

Quote From: kr68tgr

I live in a suburb of a big city, and it is devistating what these kids are doing.  Not only kids but we also have a 20 yr old who almost died from taking "too much" Nyquil.  To top it off the 20 yr old hangs with 15 yr old kids and gets them doing this ****.  Huffing paint, "Skittles", cough medicine, allergy pills..whatever they can get their grubby hands on.  Oh to top it off, they steal it from the local grocery store.

Dr. Phil I am so glad you are doing this story because when I start to talk about this with other adults, they are clueless and shocked

Worried About Our Kids in The Suburbs

Skittles?  I am one of those naive parents who is raising a beautiful daughter.  I want to keep her safe and from harms way.  Any input would be appreciated....
