I was shocked at what an instinctive dislike I felt about (Enza)  right off. As things have progressed I am blown away at her actions!  She has behaved so badly, she sounds crazy. I would wonder if there is some abuse of Alex she was involved in or knows of.

She was talking to Alex in a brainwashing way. Repeating things, drawing her in, making it as if they were together against every one else. Many times some one pointing a finger so emphatically as she is, has something to hide.

I'm sure no father being around has made an impact on Alex.

Alex is the one person that is the most likely to be pulled out of this cycle of abuse.

I doubt Dr. Phil is fooled easily... it is no surprise she is in an abusive situation and acting out badly. Kids don't have the perspective and experience to see the big picture. I don't think it's a matter of being innocent or not.

Kids can learn coping methods that aren't healthy when they are stressed and lost and with all the nastiness she's seeing around her she needs some one to point out the possitives. She's a teenager so of course she is not innocent.

Being a teenager and being in turmoil she has not felt she is worthy of attention so she does things to get the attention she is craving. She is on a slippery slope with her bad habits, I don't think Dr. Phil is treating her as if she is innocent, he's treating her gently and kindly.  Just having some one say you are worth protecting "you are worthy just because you are you" when all you are hearing otherwise is negative about every thing but especially yourself can make a huge difference!

Enza was exploiting every week point she could find even when she was apparently trying to be nice.

Every thing sooo negative. What the heck kind of person would say people don't think you have it in you..instead of just saying you have it in you.

She says all these out of line things with cameras around! What would she do when no one else was around. SO dishonest.

But Alex's Mom seems to underneath really want Enza's approval...very sad.

She is very pretty on the outside.

And that has what to do with how she is acting with her niece.

I would say this to you, Enza, I mean Brad, being passionate is one thing, telling lies and pitting people against each other is another. Not to mention saying your on their side, while saying  such degrading things to a kid.

That is just not cool.

Yes seems like she does keep inviting her in.

Seems like at some level she really wants Enzas approval.

I am sure there is way more to this situation than we are seeing.

Brad, I believe you, that your not Enza. Not that it really would matter.

We will have to agree to disagree. Our view points are way different. Which is ok. Your entitled to your oppion.
