I was confused when I heard about Joni using herion. i thought she was addicted to pain pills. I hope she can bounce back from this. I think she's a strong woman and she will have the strength to fight this.

This man is totally messed up! Listening to him talk made my tummy turn. He really seems to believe what he's saying! Like what he's doing is normal if you just look at it from his point of view. That's  twisted!! I understand where Dr. Phil is coming from. He might not be a bad man. He just has lots of issues. That's all good but tell that to his poor wife! I'm sure she sees him as a lunatic! I feel for this woman in a big way! He has abused her on so many levels. I don't think she should bother waiting to get the divorce. They've been to therapy four times! Why should she put her life on hold any longer. I think he should get the help he needs but his wife should move on to greener pastures. This dude is bad news.

I agree totally. Even if she cheated, he has issues that are bigger than her affair. He would be this way any woman who was in his life. She can't leave him. There are clear signs here that she's in danger. This needs to be taken seriously.

I have worked with the mentally ill and he would blend in with the patients I've worked with just fine! This is not a joke. He is terribly disturbed and needs some serious help. Stories like these can have horrific endings and are rarely spoken about on television for fear of copycat behaviour. He is not stable and needs to be in an institution of some sort to recieve the medician and councelling he needs and to protect his wife, his children and society. Nobody is safe until he is behind a high wall, or barb wire fence!
