WRONG

Quote From: kemito

I agree she should be prosecuted. I doubt the 3 women on the show will do so, however - basically they were 'bought off' by Dr. Phil when he promised them babies. I  also think Dr. Phil seemed to be saying he'd help Conners avoid prosecution. I found this show very disturbing. Why on earth does Dr. Phil seem to be helping con artists like this woman - just to have a show?

Believe it, the wheels of justice ARE turning.

Dr. Phil did not BUY OFF anyone. If anything, he gave those ladies an opportunity of a lifetime. Do you know how many LAW enforcement offices have TELEVISIONS in their midst, and watch these types of shows routinely? LOTS. Let me tell you, lots.

What a BONUS for these classy ladies that Melissa showed up, just to get more attention, and ooooops, she just so HAPPENS to admit on national television, to this far-reaching, emotional, horrible wretched scam of hers. Did those ladies expect Melissa or know she would show up there? Probably not. Are they glad? You bet your booty they are.

Oh and let's not forget the fact that it is VERY likely, other victims have come forward since the airing, and the re-airing of these two shows.  How about we air this one at least once a month? Ya just never know....

Back to my point. Justice is rolling along. Believe it. Just BELIEVE.

The part about Melissa being a lost soul seems to have missed many of the comments on this m board.  Melissa did wrong.  But isn't there some part of all your hearts that speak to you about HOW did she get this way?  And isn't it our job to help someone back to the right path ( as Dr Phil did) when we find someone on the journey that has obviously been on the wrong path?

I believe that what I say about it being OUR JOB as humans is the TRUTH that all religions teach.  It is easy to point a finger, easy to vent anger ( and it wasn't even done to you personally) and easy to condemn and judge, name call and hate.

Isn't the Path of All Religions....especially the Path of Christ to take the higher road, the higher ground and HELP.

Otherwise we are brought low by the same evil that overtook Melissa in the first place.

Peace is so much better!

Marie

you think she should be HELPED?  Yeah, you know...God helps those who help themselves...

and you know what else...OUR job is to keep this country legal, law abiding, and free from EVIL scammers, fraudulent liars, cheats, thieves, etc.

By the way, about judging and name calling. My mother always says..."if the shoe fits"...and oh yes, she SHOULD be condemned for her despicable acts. Name calling? I have not seen ONE name she's been called, that was out of line with the TRUTH as witnessed on these two shows. So, toss that one out, too.

So, really....you are saying it's okay what Melissa did, and she just needs a little TLC and some PEACE??? Well, she will get her peace. Maybe. I hear jail is not a very quiet place. Maybe she better enjoy where she is, right now.

Wait. I just started to write this long dissertation, but it's so much more effective to just say this  - in regards to your suggestion that we take the higher road, and offer her HELP --

OH, PUHLEEEZ.

What happened to...

Gosh, what was his name? The guy who SWORE he had exposed himself to so many millions of women, over a lot of years time. He was on the show, for the simple reason HE SAID...so that others could get help. HE swore he was cured and could move on with his life. He's the guy who sat next to women on the bus, and flashed them...then swore they enjoyed it and some of them took it further by having an encounter with him. Then his VERY YOUNG girlfriend was on the show, not knowing what the heck she was in for, and had no clue about this guy's history.

What happened to him? Or do we just have to hop on the next city bus to find out? Yikes!

I agree

Quote From: justice412

thank you for sharing your story, but in NO way do I believe she did it for attention. She did it to CONTROL.  If she just needed attention, why ask for money? why be controling? why pick adoption scams? she had tons of men flocking at her feet, (she was on many many online dating places pretending to be someone else) they gave her attention so why did she seek out couples to scam? She did this for controling and for money.

No other reasons.

I agree 100 percent with that statement. It's so very clear. So crystal clear what Melissa's motives were.

I hope that, wherever she is, she is getting the kind of "attention" that comes with a lock and key.
