younger man; older woman

When I met my husband he was 22 and I was 39.  We've been married for 20 years.  He is the love of my life.  No one can tell that there is any age difference.  Sometimes people jokingly call me a "cradle robber" and I say:  "That's right.  I stole him right out of his mommy's stroller."  His mommy gets a kick out of that one.

pedophiles

I was raped repeatedly by strangers when I was a child, and my mother was murdered.

The first rape occurred when I was under the age of 3, and kept happening until I was 14.

Although I am 60 now, I have not only NOT forgotten the incidents, they still haunt me today and affect the way I treat people.

My heart aches for little Grace.  She has been scarred by a family member who was supposed to love and protect her.  He should never never ever be allowed to be around that little girl again.

As for the grandmother, she is just as guilty.  Her lack of good judgment is proof that she can never be trusted again either.

Even if there is supervised visitation, that little girl should NOT be forced to participate.

The solution is to let time pass.  Wait until the little girl is in her teens, or even in her 20's, then let her decide.

If I were her, I would want to see him long enough to shove a hand grenade up his a**  so I could blow his perverted little head off.

We NEVER get over it.  NEVER.  If I ever got to confront a pedophile, I think it would be one of the most healing experiences ever.  Hey, Dr. Phil!  That would make a great show.  Let victims of child sexual abuse confront pedophiles, face to face.  If you ever let me do that, you will need extra security around because I may not be able to control myself.

Thank you, Dr. Phil,  for your continuous and persistent efforts to make people's lives better.

The Nanny Affair

Having an affair while married is not the end of the world.

It's easy for an uninvolved person to sit back and judge, condemn, and convict someone else's behavior, as well as offer advice to the people who are involved.

Brandon admitted that he was immature and selfish.  Most men are immature and selfish.  However, most men won't admit it.

I know someone who had over 20 affairs in the beginning of his marriage.  He was selfish and immature.  His wife stuck by is side.  They have now been married over 20 years and have a solid, loving relationship.

Brandon deserves another chance.

DOES AGE MATTER?

Rick was 22 when I met him. . . . . I was 39.   Thank God I didn't ask for Dr. Phil's advice about dating this man.   We got married after only dating for six months.  We have been married for over 21 years now and are happy.   So, bottom line:  it's nobody's business who we choose to date and marry.   I wish that Shelly never questioned her right to happiness, and never gave Dr. Phil a voice concerning her choice of who to date.   I hope she marries the kid and they live happily ever after.

Enrique should not be forced to pay.

Although Enrique should not be forced to pay child support for a child who isn't his, he should WANT to continue to support her because of the bond between them that has already been built.  He admitted, with tears in his eyes, that to cut off visitation with her was the biggest mistake of his life.

Enrique's new wife has no intergrity.  She had nothing positive to say.  All she could do is attack Maria.  She is insecure, jealous, possessive, and lacks compassion.  It was clear that Enrique wants to have a relationship with Selena.  His new wife needs to "butt out" and leave the decision up to Enrique.  If he really loves Selena, he would want to take care of her financically, and wouldn't need to be required by the Court to pay child support.  Any money should go directly to Selena, or be put in a savings account for her when she is 18.    The mother, Maria, doesn't deserve a penny of it.

Teacher Sex Scandal Pt.2

The kid is full of crap:

1.  he is inconsistent in his stories;

2.  the case was dismissed;

3.  he failed a lie detecter test, given by Jack Tremarco, x-FBI polygraph expert:

4.  most people who really have affairs with their teachers don't blab about it; and,

 5. he obviously has hidden motives for slandering her.

Dog the Bounty Hunter

What don't people understand about the fact that Dog the Bounty Hunter was having a PRIVATE CONVERSATION WITH HIS OWN SON.  IT IS NO ONE'S BUSINESS WHAT WAS SAID IN THAT CONVERSATION!  Mr.  Chapman does NOT owe anyone either an explanation or an apology.  He is not required to defend his choice of words that he had in a PRIVATE CONVERSATION.  He does not need to go on television and kiss everyone's ass to prove anything.   LEAVE THE MAN ALONE.  Everyone may not like black people!  So what?!  Freedom of Speech means that we get to say whatever the hell we freakin feel like saying, and whoever is offended by it is welcome to go whine to their psychiatrist about it.

Personally, I am not a racist, but I certainly defend the rights of those who are because it's none of my damn business how other people feel about other people.  Americans need to quit whining like first graders (no offense to first graders) about the names they are being called.  If I want to be beheaded for offending someone, I'll move to Iran.  Until then, I'll exercise my RIGHT to FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

Screw anyone who tries to rob me of that.  Duane "Dog" Chapman does NOT DESERVE to lose his tv show because of what he said in a private conversation.   I don't hate a certain race; I hate stupidity, not matter what color it is.

criticizing Dr. Phil??

Quote From: zacrus

Dr. Phil is pretty adamant that his regular fighting family guests answer his questions, and he gets a little frustrated when they just rant, rather than answering the questions.  However, the guests today were not held to that high standard.  When asked a question, they just replied with a prepared speech.
Is that all you can focus on?  Are you too blind to see the real issue here, or are you so narrow minded that you just skim over it to focus on a minor issue?  Get a clue.

Nooses

What a bunch of whiney little babies there were on the Dr. Phil show today.

I am a Jew.  If someone put an oven outside my door, I would laugh my ass off.  Someone else's anti-semitism isn't my problem.  If it bothers me, I will go whine to my psychologist about it.  People are too oversensitive.  I think that they probably get some kind of kick out of playing the victim role.

"Boo hoo. . . . poooooor meeeee. . . . someone called me a bad name today."  That sounds like something my grandson would say when he came home from 3rd grade (no offense to 3rd graders).

If you are offended by the words that someone chooses to use, grow up and get the hell over it.  You can't control others . . . . . you might as well change your reaction to them.

Dr. Phil said that "it all starts in the home."  That is exactly right.  Unfortunately, some parents are racist and pass it on to their children.  IT'S NOT GOING AWAY!  Anti-semitism isn't going away either but you don't see me on the Dr. Phil show, whining about someone calling me the "K" word.

This topic is ridiculous, in my opinion.  There are children being beaten up, tortured, sexually abused, emotionally abused, and killed.  Focus on that & quit crying about name-calling or nooses!

What kind of torture does a child need to endure that would cause him to become a serial rapist/killer?

God bless Michelle for her strength and courage!  As a former private investigator, I know how very difficult it is to play a role to gain trust for the purpose of acquiring information.   Michelle appears to be in a state of shock.  She is so strong.  I admire her very much.  Getting a criminal or a liar to trust enough to reveal the truth is tricky & dangerous.  It's not easy to keep looking sexy when you feel petrified for your life.  It's not easy to remain calm when you are so scared that you feel like puking.

This is, by far, THE BEST show that Dr. Phil has ever done.  I can't wait to see the show tomorrow.  I hope Wade goes to prison for the rest of his life.

I am still very curious about what happened to Wade as a child that caused him to grow up like this.  It is in no way an excuse for his behavior, if he was abused as a child.  I'm just wondering how many parents are out in the world right now, creating future serial rapists/killers by severely torturing them emotionally, mentaly, physically, and sexually and how can it be stopped.
