Quote From: mustbecrazyIn our area, we have a 211 information line. Dial 211, and they have info on getting rides to dr. appointments, how to get help paying for dr. visits, etc...is there anything like that in your area? Call your local community health center...maybe they can help you get in to a doctor, and tell you how to get transportation.
Social Security will probably want ANY records that you can get...even if they are old...they document that you have these disorders. Again, they may have their own doctor, who can do an exam and testing for their records. Call your local Social Security office, and find out...you might be on hold for awhile, though.
There has to be a way you can get the meds that you need...I'm sure that the lack of meds is a factor in your hopeless attitude...depression sets in and takes over, and your whole mind is filled with skewed thinking...and stress definitely plays a role in that...and you certainly have plenty of that!!
Marty is right...keep after the Child Support Enforcement agency...they have the power to garnish your ex's wages...then, you are guaranteed to get your child support money...with no cuts. They will also garnish back-support, that he hasn't paid.
For the food, call your local food bank...they are there to help...maybe they could have somebody deliver it...just explain your situation...
I hope things get better for you soon...Becky
