I'm not black and I agree with you. African-American is a term that applies to Africans living in America. Majority of black people in America are black people, not of African decent. All of the blacks I know use the term black, or in fact one girl called herself a 'nicca.' Whatever that was supposed to mean. The word n***** or (the 'n' word, whatever you prefer) is a term with no race boundary, that basically means you're lazy. I have all kind of ancestors, but I don't call myself a 'Native-Irish-German-Creole-French American.' I am an American. I think we'd be a lot better off if the prefix was gone, let's get the NAACP to symbolically bury it. (just kidding)

You're not a Chinese-American
You're not a Native American
You're not a Japanese-American
You're an AMERICAN, and you should be proud of it.
