Quote From: ceildh1Correct me if I'm wrong, but a couple of things stuck out for me,
1) This was a small town, and one thing I KNOW about small towns especially if Daddy is the Mayor, ex mayor or a prominent figure, the people will belive you or at least make on like they do because the normal person has a preconceived notion that your family is infallible, or that you have no way of fighting them anyway.
2)One Polygraph says he's being truthful one says he's lying (the very reason they aren't used in the courts ).
3)Mommy standing right there beside him, he's not about to recant his story.
4)The whole "I'm a Christian, I wouldn't do that ", give me a freakin break.
Sounded more to me that she wouldn't give them a break on their French mark or something, and as for her lack of emotion that the Doc pointed out, NO ONE KNOWS how they will react to ANY given situation until they are placed in it, that INCLUDES the Doc HIMSELF, if she had of been teary eyed and bawling hysterically, many would be saying she was playing it up for the cameras, so no matter how much or little she showed she couldn't win.
I'm going more toward her, but I'm going to see what happens tommorrow.
Regarding the comment about the lie detector test he passed. HOGWASH - if your parent was Mayor of the town you would undoubtedly have a 'passed' test no matter how bad you failed. I find no credence in that passed test what-so-ever.
AND YES - I was a tad disappointed in Dr. Phil's remark about her non-emotional attitude, too. BUT - I love ya, Dr. Phil and since Ibelieve you do and say everything for a reason I'm going to let you slide on this one!!
