Next time you hear, African-American, remember that represents the merging of two continents. Muhammad Ali, he joined the Nation of Islam in 1964 and was not drafted until 1967. Should he be Catholic Christian like me. Li was never eligible for the draft, he 1-Y(not qualified) but this was ignored. The Justice Dept. Hearing Officer interviewed over 35 people and made the recommendation that Ali was not qualified for draft. They ignored the recommendation and went on to draft him. The case went to the US Supreme Court and they decided 8-0 with one abstained vote, that Ali not eligible or the draft.

You can't paint America British and say that is America and everything else is ethnic pride in America. We are all immigrants an we all came from somewhere else and brought that to America. I that is not the case, shall we give up St. Patrick's Day, that's not American. Shall we stop teaching about the affairs of Europe. We shall start wih the first settlers and start with that history. That would be the Indians. But, we must go further because many came from Asia and Africa.
