Some things will never change. Some people are very narrow minded. I know not ever white person is racist, just those who make pretend. Those are the ones who have black "friends", but won't allow them in their houses. This man has been using the "N - word" for a while and just got caught this time; it wasn't an accident. His son is not like his father; thank God for that. I read about this incident and wondered if anything would come of it and now I see something has.
I was born in Maryland and raised doing the time all these negative things started happening and had most of my schooling in DE. I went to college at Maryland State College, now Univ of Maryland - Eastern Shore and we demonstrated in the town of Princess Anne, MD where some of the white folks were very prejudiced. I went through the times of sitting on the back of the bus or not being allowed to eat at counters in restaurant and having people watch me when I went into certain stores.
I'm thinking things would change - not. Being an African-American, I have been through a lot during my 63, soon to be 64, years and nothing surprises me anymore. Things have been happening for years in the dark, now things and feelings are coming back to light.
This should be a most interesting show which I hope to be able to see.
