I got what you were saying about paying for something that you had no part in. Paying for a car and supporting a child that you love has no relevance.
As for your point about Selina and Enrique making amends I think Selina already made her decision on that and if she changes her mind well more power to her.
Mia is culpable because she is the step mother and could gain nothing but money by doing what she did. That perhaps won't be the case tho anyway. My neighbors son doesn't look one bit like his dad. Should I run over there and tell them I think they should have a DNA test? The nuttiness of some of these posts is getting ridiculous.

If you are referring to someone stealing a SSN and getting the money in my name and adopting a child....no, it has never happened to me.
I said if it happened to you, would you mind paying the 20,000.00 for the child they adopted or do you think that would be their responsibility, even though they stole the money from you basically. I used this example instead of the car because you thought I was comparing a car to a child....missing the point. So by using a child example instead, I'm saying you would be paying for someone else's child......would you argue with a Judge or would you just let it go and not get angry at all. You might act out in anger but like you said, it's what is in the best interest of the child, so you couldn't get mad.
I said if you really wanted what was in the best interest of the child, you would want to see them make amends, but all you can say is that you thought Selina already made her decision. That would be the thing to want for the child, because it is in the best interest of the child after all.
What is ridiculous is for you to keep blaming the step mom. You THINK she had nothing to gain but money by suggesting a DNA test. You are the one who keeps comparing Mia to money. You still believe Enrique and Selina had no right to know the truth. So I guess your answer is yes, you would be mad at the hospital if they happened to be the one to tell Enrique the truth, instead of Mia. I'm not sure why you have such a problem with them knowing the truth.
