Just my opinion

This is just my opinion as a monority. In this day and age of technology, we seem to disregard privacy. For a family member to sell a copy of a conversation that was private is more appalling than what Dog had to say. The N word will never go away. Neither will the other derogatory terms to other nationalities. South Park regulary gets away with using such terms to describe jewish people as well as other races. They are not censured.
Also, there is not a single person in this world who has not had a conversation with family that would not be spoken in public. When will the news media stop and think twice about what thier part is. It's funny that we are mad at Dog, but how about the media that bought the tapes and decided to release it. They are making a public matter out of a private one. If the son was offended then he should have dealt with it in private, just as the conversation was......PRIVATE.

Fat Cats

I am amazed that people cannot see what the reverend Al Sharpton and T. D. Jakes are truely about. For one we as monorities do not need to have role models that dress in wardrobes that come from the hard earned money of their parishioners. Why can they not live the life of a humble servant of God doing his work. Black males especially in this day and age do not need to see leaders with expensive cars, jewelery, clothing, etc. What they need to see is how to be productive citizens without the use of violence. They need strong role models that are in a position to show them how to obtain their goals while making a difference that is positive with out all of the flash.

Gimmick

Quote From: pegjoe

I get emails almost every day from Nigeria, UK, and other countries telling me I have inherited millions.  All I have to do is send my phone and address and it will be delivered.  All pf them have a similar story. Some are dying from cancer and want me to get their money for one reason or another.  I cannot find out what the gimmick is with these emails.  Does anyone know?Peggy Warren
The problem is it looks so easy. Nothing more is asked of you than to give out a little information. The problem Peggy is that with just that small amount of information alone, you could have your identity stolen. For instance, you give your name and address out:
1) I can know go to your home and
a) go thru your trash and get personal information
b) potentially stalk you
c) rob you
etc. and that is just what can be done with the info. Other scams ask you for your name, address, bank account number where they can send you the check and your social security number of the. This too leads to identity theft. Others ask you to send them a check for say $3,000 in order for the funds to be released. This too is their way of gaining something from you for nothing. Your Hard Earned CASH. Please Peggy, do not fall prey to these scams. In the end the only thing you will have gained nothing and potentially lost everything. Also please note that they are now calling homes with this same type of scam, stating that the government has had money that is yours. If that is the case than you can verify the information through government or legal channels. I hope this helped.
Sincerely
AJ

Role Models

I found that one key point was missed in this whole thing. The fact that Dr. Moody pushed the male first, before the Dr. got into the gentlemans car. That in effect coupled with the fact that Dr. Moody got out of his car first in order to "CONFRONT" the other driver, makes the Dr. guilty of assault not once, not twice, but three times. Don't forget the camera man was the second. The female who was the third, could have considered him a threat. As a small women to this very tall man, she may have used her hands to push him back and create distance between them. I saw him coming at her at the same time she stepped off the curb. Yes she put her hands on him, no I did not see it as assault. The real tradgedy though is that the Dr. has three children. He is supposed to be a role model to them as well as theiir parent. Anything that he does must be done with respect to them. I am also concerned over his display of anger in such a trivial matter. Though he may be respected in his profession, that doesn't mean he is not a person to be weary of. Remember this was over a blocked driveway and as the tape showed, there was a cop right there. He could have easily gone to them.
