Homosexuality

My very first post here on the message board ^^. It's good to know that there are still many people who support gays and lesbians. I used to be one of those confused teenagers who didn't know what she had to pick. For years I was questioning myself: Am I gay or straight? Until now I know that I'm both. So that makes me bisexual for now.
I grew up in a very gay friendly environment. My parents are very open minded people. My dad has an uncle who is gay and they taught me to accept anyone no matter what.
Being gay is sometimes misunderstood. People will be suprised to know how many people are gay or bisexual. The thing is that it's still taboo!
I'm not religious. I've never been. I hear some people say gay might be a sin. But we all sin sometimes, don't we? Even straight people. If we tried to live a life without sins we might just have to live like a fish or something.

Safeguarding Your Kids from Internet Predators

I'm pretty sure if you educate your children well about the danger of internet, then  the risk of falling into the hands of internet predators will decrease.
I've been on the internet since I was 14, without supervision of my parents or anything and I've had my share of predators trying to contact me. I just didn't fall for it cuz I simply knew it means danger.
It's funny when they think they 'caught' a victim while I always used to report them to webmasters. Internet is a dangerous place and people can't be trusted. You can simply turn into anyone on the net.
I turn myself into a 14 year old again to locate those pervs and get them deleted from websites before they start doing harm to kids. I can easily pass for 14, cuz I still look 14. But even when you're 20 years old, predators still contact you. I still get dirty messages sometimes. Too bad for them I'm smarter

well i wasnt raised in an open minded environment, my parents shun that kind of thing when i told my parents i like both my mother yelled at me for 4 hrs about how bad it was for me to be like that, about stuff from the bible....and how i could die with aids and stupid crap like dat. im really religious and i know some ppl say its "wrong" but oh well i am what i am and im not going to change for stupid people like my parents.
I have a great deal of respect for you. Being raised in a not so open-minded environment sure is difficult. Religious or not :) We can't be anything else but ourselves :)

Homosexuality

Quote From: rachelsamantha

i really cant go on, i  cant take it no more i cant live two diffrent lives

male and getting dress up as a famale and going out with guys im better off dead,

Oh no you're not!!!  Just be who you want to be! Giving up is not the answer. Life is a big bully to all of us. Sometimes it totally sucks! But there's always a place we can feel happy again about ourselves and for others too. We just have to find it. We have to find our place and purpose here on this earth. If you can't live two different lifes, then you have to choose: What makes you happy? What makes you feel complete?
If you want to be a beautiful woman like you are in that pic, you should do it and don't afraid of people judging, cuz that's all they do and it's just because they don't know anything about you and how you feel about it.

Anorexia

I don't have an eating disorder myself(I'm a total pig when it comes to eating), but I used to have a friend who had. It's quite a struggle though. It has effected me just as much as it did to her. Seeing her getting thinner each week is pretty shocking. In the end we ended up calling her mom about it who didn't even knew.
It only got worse since she began to have signs of suicidal behavior and self-damage. Now I'm that person who wish to learn about the problem before handling with it and I do know how people feel. By understanding her I got her so far that she seriously started to see that she did had a problem and finally seeked professional help.
Keep in mind that there's no such thing as perfect. If you recognize your problem, you should get help immediately. It's something that will effect your whole life though. It will always be difficult to eat, but don't give up!!!
