On the cover of every issue of Cosmo you'll see listings like "Tips and Tricks to Get the Guy of Your Dreams".  It  would seem that it's perfectly fine for women to learn techniques to get what they want from a relationship, but wrong for men to do it.  This is just another example of "Dr." Phil's man-bashing to pander to his demographic.

i couldnt agree more... Since Ive been 14 Ive read magazines about How to articles.  Women and other men who believe that what these guys built fro men who need to learn HOW TO....... in order to get a women, aree doing harm are just frkin nuts!

Women are extreemly hard to catch, esp when out in a social setting when they are surrounded by their friends..... please, guys need help.  i give men alot of credit.....

women should really stop being so tough on men

This topic did hit a nerve with you. If the hat fits, wear it. Dr. Phil is not doing any man bashing to my knowledge. He is just telling the things the way they are

MOST OF THE TIME when women seek for tips on how to get a man ( and yes there are the other kind of women out-there "the gold-diggers" but they are not the majority) they are looking for their sole-mate, a man that they can trust, with whom they can build a compatible and a solid relationship and maybe have a family eventually.

However, MOST OF THE TIME when men are looking for tips on how to get a woman (yes, there are lots of good men out there and I must say that in general they do not need those tips) it is to play them, have a one night stand, to add another trophy to their address book or even worse to just have fun with them. They have no regards for the woman's feelings.

In any case, WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND, these people who like to play and manipulate (man or women regardless of their gender) will eventually get what they deserve.

No... it is not wrong for men to look for tips on how to attract women when it is for the right reasons. It's just that very often when men do it, it is for the wrong reasons!!!

A Canadian viewer.

I really dont see how it is so different.... its so the same.  Men dont have it easy with women, they are rude and unkind, especially if they dont fit the "TYPE"  so why wouldnt they get tips from other guys to not get stompped on.

Look im a women who feels that women should be a bit more understanding.  For the many years of going out before I met my husband of 5 years, I also went out with a topic or story.. tips from a magazine.  I had to up my game if I wanted to get a man.  Granted Im a women and women get more men than men getting women, it worked 98% of the time.

Men are just doing the same... Upping their game.  It doesnt them fake.

com'on women get a grip and give men a break..... up your game and find yourself a man.

Yes Penny Lane, you are so right!. You seem to me like a very intelligent and well articulated woman.

I totally agree with you. I met my husband the same way and we have been happily married for 35 years.

I do not believe in those games and when you play games very often you get burned.

To be AUTHENTIC, honest and natural brings you a long way. Men and women should just have confidence in themselves, focus on their qualities and if they need to improve their social skills for dating or whatever reason they have.. please get it from a reliable source, not from these phony manipulative guys from the show. They are sooooo superficial and wrong. To me they are just robbing these guys from their money. They are scammers.

They went on national TV in front of millions of viewers to inform us of their manipulative ways. So NOW LADIES BEWARE as you are warned and informed. Shame on you if you do get caught or if you buy into their games!

Maybe all the single women out-there should thank Nick for raising their awareness.

As for the guys out-there well... Nick definitely did not help your case. It will just be even harder for you guys to have credibility with women. Women will just be on their guards even more!!!

I believe women then compared to women of todays world are extreemly different.  Women were not controlling and or rude. So, men 20 plus years ago didnt have to try to get women the just did. And even then, didnt women and men talk to their friends and or familys about how to win the heart of another.

I dont believe these men are not being natural, they are just receiving some advice, like if you were to ask your girlfriend(s)..  Why do you and others feel so negative about men receiving advice on how to get a womens attention?  Whats makes you think that the men who take this class are being scammed.  They arent teaching how to get  sex and how to be a player.

My husband and I also have a great marriage, granted its only going for 5 years, but whos to say he didnt get oppinions and adice from others.  I could say we met naturally too.

Heres another thought.... when your kids come to you and for advice aboutsomeone they might be interested in, arent you gonna offer advice. I know I would say , "well.... talk about about what you like, find a common interest, tell a funny story."  Does this make me a bad mom?

What makes these men that have the site and the men paying for it any DIFFERENT.
