Add All The Pretty Things You Want 7/31/05

Quote From: lifewithas

Hi can I join in?

This is my first attempt at a message board

I just wanted to say I've struggled with my weight and ill health for quite a few years now. I find the thing that helps is to measure my body from head to ankle and keep check on the inch loss - the scales may not be moving - keep going the next few days will show a difference if you don't console yourself with eating- but as I eat for health my body shows the difference.

Hugs to you all out there x x

Sorry I don't know how to add all the pretty things you have

Hi..I too am learning how to join in and this may be my first attempt.

If you want to add pretty things(called graphics) to your messages;

learn how to copy and paste. How you learn is to type COPY AND PASTE

into a search..perhaps on you homepage. Or do the following below:

  • Copy and Past
  • Highlight by dragging your pointer accross graphic that you want to have.
  • Next go to Edit on the top of page and click on copy
  • Then go to your message page and right click.

Practice awhile and when you get it do it.

  •  The graphic has to be highlighted first.
  •  Then go to Edit at the left side of your screen.
  •   Click right on Copy.
  •   Click left on message and you've got it.

My love and prayers go out to you..Ruthie from Michigan

Having problems and just want to share on this topic.Male or Female makes no difference. We all have a problem with excessive food in our life. Why not reach out and touch someone? Ruth Marie

SWEET'N LOW?

Hi Everybody, I went grocery shopping yesterday and bought a box of SWEET'N LOW and

later that same evening I was reading an Article by Kay Sheppard called "Making

Appropriate Choices." Kay said that if your sweeteners have Dextrose in it; "Don't use

it.  What am I suppose to do? I have the choice to trash it; which I've already came

to that conclusion. 'TRASH IT' Don't you think that is a good choice? If I was to deside to

use it , who knows maybe I would be open for a Relapse...I wish I could ask Dr.Phil on this one. Love, Ruth Marie

What's Your Payoff for Being Overweight?

I like the New Message Board; but we don't get

a message back soon and somedays none at all.

When I speak out on this Board I want to be heard.

If I don't get any replys I feel left out!

Soon I'll say, "I'm out of here! Hugs, Ruth Marie

Hello Everyone, This day will soon came to an end. What have I done that

really makes a difference? I feel that my messages have fallen on a bunch

of deaf ears. I don't want to be sarcastic; but somebody has missed the boat

right along with me.(giggle) Do you have a since of humor? Hugs, Ruth Marie

Food Is My Drug Of Choice

I've been in a Twelve Step Plan for Recovery for my food addiction.

Is there anyone out there that can relate to this type of recovery?

Abstinence is the most impotant thing in my life, because without it,

I have no life. I use to be fat, but now I weigh 135lbs. I am trying, with

God's help, to loose 10 more lbs. Is anyone interested now?

Regards,

Ruth Marie
