Everyone who is having surgery  - it's up to you, I'm not planning on swaying your opinion, it's your body, your decision and your money.

 

First off - I think plastic surgery should be reserved for people who have something WRONG, especially if it interferes with their health. If a nose job restores/improves breathing or sense of smell or repairs some huge deformity then that's one thing but to just 'change how you look', I just don't like that. That's all it is, my opinion. I'm not going to tell you you're stupid to get it done - I might say you're a bit silly to think it's going to make a difference to your life but I don't have to live with a big nose or (BEAUTIFUL) Asian eyes.

 

As for Brad looking 'more caucasian'...he's Italian. When did they stop being caucasian? I'm Scottish Italian, does that mean I'm only HALF caucasian? What's my other half?

 

What did Chastity's aunt mean that she's surrounded by beautiful women and should get a nose job? She IS a beautiful woman! (On the outside, that is, I have no reason to believe the inside doesn't match.)

 

The only time I've been a member of a minority was when I was in Ethiopia for three months and even then I got swarmed and treated like royalty (because whites are all viewed as rich where I was, it was MOST embarrassing, they just had no idea how very rich THEY were!) so I don't know what it's like to live as a minority. So it's easy for me to sit here and say "you're Asian, you're beautiful, this is 2007 and in most cases the stereotypes are history" and I know that's certainly not the case. I'm not happy with my face either. Not at all but at the end of the day, it is a 'western'/white face so I don't face the prejudices so I'll never say that I understand but if my two cents counts - please, please, please, Asian women don't change your eyes. I think they're beautiful. Just concentrate on keeping the inside matching the outside and if you have all that extra money, perhaps the better plastic surgery to invest in would be to help a burn victim. THAT surgery would be much more rewarding to pay for.

Uh, Shelley, you know there's an acronym for you, right? Just wondering. This child couldn't tell his MOTHER that he's having sex with you. His MOMMY doesn't know! He is looking for a substitute mommy! This child had NOTHING grown up to say and the two of you couldn't even get things straight. You said you didn't want to get married and have children (translation "I'm just going to have sex with him 'til he dries up") but when Dr. Phil asked about your future, the litle boy said that you have talked about having children. Which one of you had the right story? The fact that the pizza delivery boy isn't worried about the future is a dead giveaway that he has no idea what he's heading to.

 

When your daughter has an affair with a 40 year old man in a few years I'm sure you'll be repulsed and if she goes on TV and tells the viewers that she has had sex with this 40 year old man. People only think pervs are dirty old men who stalk young women on line and schmooze the bars to pick up pretty young things who look good on their arm but perverts come in all shapes and sizes, male and female and all walks of life.

 

Dr. Phil used every adjective he knew for his opinion and you nodded and said "I know, I know, I know...but it makes me feel so good." Why did you bother asking him if you are only in this for you? To hell with what everyone thinks.

If Jerry dressed himself like a 15 year old 'gangstah' or whatever that look is, shame on him but for the show to okay that (when I remember seeing on one of the 'backstage' clips about the show they had someone advising the future guest what to wear and what not to wear)...that was a very irresponsible thing to do. I'm not saying Jerry was prince charming but could they have made him look any worse? As for Jerry - I would be happier to grow up withOUT him than WITH him! i realise Kayla is upset but a million people have deadbeat and asentee parents and they don't kill themselves and it is still poisoning Kayla. I hope this closed it so she can take the sourness off of her face and out of her voice. The best that can come of this is that she enjoy her children and realise what a gift they are. It's very unfortunate that people become accidental parents, to be sure.

I haven't read the replies to this and have been living out of the country and haven't seen the shows for a year but I have a few comments.

 

Why is it that everyone always uses "you can't get a driver's licence" to stack up the can and can't dos when someone is fourteen. Since when did having a driver's license reflect on anyone's maturity? Just about any butthead can get one, doesn't mean they should have one.

 

Also, I get very tired of people blubbering that this baby is there and it's going to be such a burdon and it's going to screw up their life etc etc, why don't they give it away? There are so many people waiting for babies. In this day and age there's hardly an excuse for people to get pregnant when they're not ready but it happens and after the fact there's nothing you can do about it but there IS a solution after the baby is born and it can have a very happy ending.

 

I wouldnt consider giving a dirty look to a pregnant teen and I would do anything to help her out but I get very sad when I see her pushing a pram (sometimes pregnant again already) and knowing that she doesn't realise that this is all due to her choices.
