Missing Women Nationwide

Dr Phil, there are missing men, women and children daily who do not get the type of coverage that they or their families deserve.   There has to be something more compelling than race to drive the

story. Chandra Levy was having an affair with a United States Congressman.   Lacey Peterson was

8 mos. pregnant and went missing on Christmas Eve.  Natalee Holloway's parents allowed her to

go to an exotic foreign island for her senior trip..     As you said of your first guest being able to find

an example to back up his theory, I can find two to disprove the myth that if you're a missing white

woman, the media flocks to cover your story.   I can think of several stories in the past few years from my own rural, midwestern county that got NO attention statewide, let alone nationwide.

Dr Phil, you dropped the ball on this one by making it about race.

Back Off Grandma!

I was thin as a child ,but my sister was 10-12 lbs 'overweight'.  We never ate junk food and soda

pop was forbidden. So,it just "was".   My family was incredibly critical and she has food issues

to this day. FORTY YEARS LATER.

Cut it out Joyce!  Your daughter is a smart woman. She has the information, she can act or not.

It's HER child to raise. I know you love your granddaughter, but this is SO none of your business

after a certain point.

Todd,Todd,Todd!

She broke up with you fifty times in 2 years?  You deserve better than that.   Too much drama.

Was it that she seemed unattainable that made her more desirable?

You seem like a great guy and I wish you every good thing in your search for Miss Right.

Mike

Mike, I don't think you are wrong about this girl,I just think the way you are going about convincing

Sanjay is.  Frustration made you behave badly,it was clear you didn't think Sanjay was hearing

you.  So you ratcheted up the insults.  Men tend to do this.   Tell him how you feel and what your

concerns are more calmly. I 'm sure you've done this 50 times, but PLEASE keep trying. At least

get Sanjay to admit that he cannot see around corners and needs a pre-nuptual agreement.  It's

like fire insurance.  Do you want the house to burn down? No.  Do you do everything you can to

prevent it from burning down? Yes.  But it still happens.   If the marriage is a good one,so what?

It's just a scrap of paper.  But if this girl takes a powder in 2 or 3 years,he will at least have some

protection.   Given what he was saying about a new building he was adding to his practice,he

REALLY needs to look out for  and guard what he has worked so hard to build.

Like Dr. Phil,I don't think she's a bad person, she is just really young and not terribly mature.  A

grown woman wouldn't resort to loud crocodile tears to enforce her point.  She was very childish

when she did that. Her focus on material goods is also a sign of an underdeveloped

personality.   She needs to grow up.  Hopefully Dr. Sanjay is going to get her to take some

college classes.   What in the heck do they have in common?   What do they talk about?   It

boggles my mind that he would willingly choose to be with a girl instead of a woman.
