Rochelle?

Quote From: ramair

I agree. Oprah's part was waaaaay too long. After two weeks of hype about Dr Phil's most memorable guests, I was expecting to see Marty, Erin, Katherine, Nathan and Alex on stage with Dr Phil. But, all we got was a taped congratulatory message. From everyone but Alex. What a gyp!

I wanted to see Rochelle and the husband who could do no RIGHT.  Hopefully, he did not die from all the sodas he drank.....an unhealthy habit.

Dr. Phil credentials

Quote From: lighthouseguy

I have followed Dr. Phil since his Oprah days and I continue to enjoy most of his shows. I look forward to more great shows.

I don't know where to air this but within this episode since it celebrates all those that Dr. Phil has helped, but still has his detractors accusing him of either malpractice or of not being a doctor at all. I know Dr. Phil address this on his show not long ago, but he was attacked again AFTER that episode by people who should know better.

Recently "The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet" spent nearly 10 minutes criticizing Dr. Phil, claiming he's NOT a doctor and never has been, is an entertainer "pretending to be a doctor", and so on and so forth. Ironically, this came about from a "legal" segment regarding the issues around Brittany Spears. Both regulars on the show, Geraldo Rivera who reported many criminal issues in his career and a former judge (can't think of her name right now). These two SLANDERED Dr. Phil with their outrageous claims that he was never a doctor and, in their words, "find it sad that he is manipulating the public" into thinking he's a doctor. Interesting . . . this judge wants us to respect her opinion based on her many years on the bench, yet she refuses to acknowledge that Dr. Phil is a real doctor who has retired from private practice and has the right to retain his title as "DR" and continue to give us his expert advice. It's even funnier that Geraldo Rivera who has NEVER practiced law in his life claims he IS an expert on the law and we should listen to his advice on such matters.

The sadly funny conclusion to all this is that on that Thursday or Friday show in which they predicted that an outside person who be given "control" over Brittany because as she an adult "No judge would give this kind of custodial responsibility back to a parent to whom a child has had conflict."

Hhhhhmmmm . . . Isn't that exactly what the judge did just several days after that asinine proclamation by Rivera and that retired judge and isn't that what Dr. Phil himself had predicted would happen knowing what decent and caring parents Brittany has.

I personally think the entire crew of The Morning Show ought to issue an ON AIR apology for their slanderous comments and Dr. Phil should demand it. This wasn't some trash tabloid magazine, but a television show with respectable reporters and so-called experts who need to show some respect to the REAL experts out there!

I dumped a toxic friend simply because she too stated that Dr. Phil was not a REAL doctor.  RUBBISH.

He helped me stop mourning for my husband killed in 1951 Korean War.....a painful hole in my heart for 57 years.  It hurt so badly, I cried myself out of tears. Thank you, Dr. Phil, when you said to a guest "You cannot be responsible for something your loved one chose to do which had a bad ending". (sic)  I have forgiven myself  after all these years.

I felt sorry for the woman in the audience who said she was shocked at the beauty queen's behavior. I think we all have a right to disapprove of sleazy behavior without being called judgmental. No one said this girl should burn in Hell or wear a scarlet letter (so she can just let that straw man go.) We just want our daughters to have someone a little nicer to emulate.

I wish she had been called on some of her excuses. She kept saying that she did what she did "in private." Sorry. "Private" is in your room with the door locked and a hidden camera in the wall. She did what she did * at a party* with cameras openly around. This may be "normal" behavior among the rich and famous but not in small town America, and I hope it never is.
